(Violet's P.O.V)

"I assure you Sir Kyle and Ma'am Violet, your daughter will have the best birthday party ever tonight.", nakangiting sabi sa amin ni Ria; ang event organizer na kinuha ni Kyle para sa birthday party ni Kaylee.

Yes, today is my daughter's fifth birthday. Gosh, I can't believe my daughter is growing so fast. Parang dati baby lang siya pero ngayon... 5 years old na siya.

"Thank you Ria.", pagpapasalamat ko sa kanya.

"You're welcome ma'am.", she said smiling back at me.

Pagkatapos naming ma-check yung venue ni Kyle ay umalis na kami.

"Thank you.", hindi ko mapigilang sabihin kay Kyle nang nasa may kotse na niya kami papuntang mall. Hindi pa kasi ako nakakabili ng gift para sa anak ko.

"For what?", takang tanong ni Kyle sa akin.

"For the birthday party you're throwing for Kaylee. You know, I was not really able to throw a grand birthday party for her each time she celebrated her past birthdays.", I said.

Kahit gusto kong bigyan siya ng engrandeng birthday party noon, hindi ko magawa dahil kapos ako noon sa pera kaya naman sa bahay lang namin sine-celebrate ang birthday niya kasama sina mommy, daddy, at ibang mga kaibigan ng anak ko.

"Kahit naman simple lang yung birthday party niya noon at kahit kayu-kayo lang nina tita at tito ang kasama niya, alam kong masaya si Kaylee.", sabi ni Kyle kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. "She's happy just being with the people she loves. I'm just throwing the party for her because I want it to be special... both for me and Kaylee. This is her first birthday that I'm actually attending. I want to give everything to her to cover up all her past birthdays that I wasn't with her.", Kyle continued.

Hindi ko mapigilang hindi ma-guilty sa narinig ko. Walang halong panunumbat sa boses ni Kyle sa kung bakit hindi siya naka attend sa past birthdays ni Kaylee pero hindi ko pa rin mapigilang hindi ma-guilty. Guilt dahil alam kong ako ang rason kung bakit hindi siya naka attend sa past birthdays ni Kaylee dahil nilayo ko ang anak namin sa kanya.
