Once they arrived to their hotel in D.C., they got with the people they would be rooming with and headed up to their room. Caroline was rooming with Michelle and once they found their room, Caroline began unpacking.
"So Caroline, you excited?"
"More like nervous. You?"
"A little nervous. Just ready to get this over with."
"Same though."
Once they were done unpacking, they decided to play some Sherlock on Caroline's laptop. About halfway through the episode, there was a knock at their door. Caroline went to open it and was greeted by Liz in her bathing suit and towel.
"Hey guys. We're sneaking down to the pool. Want to join?"
"Sure. Wait just a minute and let me put on my bathing suit."
Liz walked into their room as Caroline went to the bathroom to change.

"Alright. Let's go." Caroline said walking back out.
Liz, Caroline and Michelle went to grab everyone else. As they were making their way to the pool, they ran into Peter.
"H-hey Liz. Hey Caroline."
"Perfect timing. We're gonna go swimming. Come on, come on, come on." Liz said.
"What?" Peter said confusingly.
At the moment the rest of the team snuck by, Flash hitting Peter on the butt.
"Hey!" Peter said.
"I was, uh... I was gonna go study, um, in the business center." Peter said.
"Peter, you don't need to study. You're, like, the smartest guy I've ever met."
Peter looks at Liz.
"I'll just leave you two to talk." Caroline said, walking away.
"And besides... Um, a rebellious group activity the day before competition is good for morale."
"Hmm?" Peter asked confused.
"Um, well, I read that in a TED Talk, so, I-I heard it in a TED Talk. And I read a coaching book."
"Wow... This is really important to you."
"Yeah. It's our future. I'm not gonna screw it up. Besides, we raided the minibar and these candy bars were, like, eleven dollars. So get your trunks on and come on."
At the moment, Betty and some of the other girls started calling Liz and she hurried off.
Peter was conflicted as to what he should do. Should he go after the lead on the bad guys or spend time with his crush and best friend? As he watched his friends down below play in the pool, he got up and went towards the bad guys.
Once Peter found the bad guys, he waited until the right time, when he was taken by the winged man. As they fought on top of the damage control truck, Peter got knocked inside of the truck and the phaser was taken away. Peter, not knowing this, jumped up, hitting his head and hitting the floor of the truck unconcious.
When he woke up and got out of the container, he was confused as to where he was. That is, until his suit informed him he was in Damage Control's deep storage vault. To pass the time, Peter began talking to his suit's AI.
"Suit lady, I feel bad calling you suit lady."
"What would you like to call me?"
"How about Liz? No that's too weird. How about Caroline? No that's too weird too."
"Why is it weird?"
"There's this girl Liz. And I really like her. And Caroline. Well Caroline is my best friend and I think I may be developing feelings for her as well. But neither of them would ever go out with me. How about I call you Karen?" Peter said, changing the subject.
"Karen is fine."
After a little while, Peter began looking through the stuff that was in the container.
