Chapter 16

By the time Caroline had got outside, she noticed a dented and turned over bus and Ned standing there.

"Blue Electric! I'm a friend of Spider-Man and he told me that he needed backup. I don't know where he was headed though."

"It's fine. I have a tracker in the watch I gave him. Thank you citizen."

Caroline flew to where the tracker stopped and was met with a fallen building.

"No, no, no. Peter!" She ran towards the ruins and looked for him. Suddenly she heard a groan and part of the building lifted, revealing a disheveled Peter.

"Oh my god." Caroline said, running towards him and pulling him into a hug.

"Are you okay."

"I'm fine. We have to stop him though. The guy with the metal wings is Liz's dad."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. Come on. It's moving day. We have to stop him before he gets ahold of the tech."

"Moving day? Oh my god it's moving day! How could I forget?" Caroline said.

They went towards the plane and hopped on top. The two teens were fighting the Vulture when the engine caught on fire and the plane started to plummet. It crashed on the beach. Peter got up and took his mask off when he's attacked by Vulture.

Caroline sends a shock out, trying to short circuit the wings.

"It's not working." She yells.

"Didn't you ever learn not to mess with stuff you didn't know?"

He picks up an unconscious Peter and when he see the box of tech, he throws him to the side and Caroline runs to him.

"Peter, you got to get up. Please be okay."

Peter regains consciousness when he sees Vulture's wings start to spark as he flies off. He shoots a web out to try to stop him.

"Time to go home Pete."

"I'm trying to save you."

Suddenly, the wings malfunction and the Vulture falls into the fire.

"No!" Peter yells, running into the fire.

Caroline runs after him. Peter and Caroline try to lift the wings but Peter retracts his hand and hisses at the hot metal. They picked Toomes up and Peter webs him to a crate. After leaving a note, Peter and Caroline leave and go sit on top of the cyclone.

"You okay?" Caroline asks.

"Never better." Peter says as he lays his head back.

The next day at school, Ned is telling Peter about how crazy what had happened the previous night was.

"I still can't believe Liz's dad was Vulture and that I met Blue Electric."

"I take it you're a fan?"

"Who isn't? She's amazing."

"That she is."

Peter saw Liz and Betty hugging and excused himself from Ned and walked over.

Betty walked away and Peter looked at Liz.

"Listen I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for this time? The dance? Cause that was a pretty crappy thing to do."

"I mean, with e-everything with your dad...I know it must be tough..."

"Yeah well dad doesn't want us here for the trial. I guess we're moving to Oregon. Mom says it's nice there."
