Lily began crying nonstop. She wanted her mother.
"Do you know how much longer?" I asked.
"Not much." said Coran.
I sighed.
"Lance?"
He turned to face me.
"Yeah?"
"I wanted to thank you. For everything." I smiled warmly.
"No problem." he smiled back.

"Keith?" I heard from behind. Pidge was barely audible because of the baby.
"Pidge!" I said running to help support her.
"Where's Lily?"
"She's over here."
I led her to Allura, who was still trying to rock the uncontrollable baby.
"Pidge!" she said happily. She stood up to hand her crying Lily.
She instantly began to stop, just a soft hiccup now and then.
"She's beautiful." whispered Pidge.
"You should get something to eat. Both of you." said Lance. "I have a blanket you can use to feed Lily."
"Thank you Lance." she said as he handed her the soft grey blanket.
