Freya's back hurt, it really hurt. She still stood in her childhood bedroom. She was by the mirror examining the two feathery wings protruding from her back. When she touched one she shook. It was tinged with blood. There were a few golden feathers but not too many. She frowned. She stretched one then the other.

What was she?

Freya closed her eyes tight and willed them away. When they disappeared she breathed a sigh of relief. But then out of fear she shook. How was she able to do that?

She walked into the hall, walking passed each mirror carefully to see if her wings would reappear. She breathed a sigh of relief after each mirror only to have the anxiety build until she reached the next one. When she reached her father's private library, she scoured it for any information on ethereal beings with wings.

She had been there for hours until in a desperate attempt for information, she pulled on a book about birds, the shelve shook and opened to reveal a study. There were books sprawled everywhere. There were things circled and there was even a board covered in torn pages and three words circled several times.

FAE OR ANGEL

It was officially the final day before the Easter holidays, and Tom was pacing in the main hall wondering whether she would show up. After all he didn't show up for her. But she was better than him. He needed to keep her. He just needed her to make an unbreakable vow to him. Well he was going to accomplish step one, he thought as he touched the small box in his pocket. His heart lifted as he heard a familiar voice.

"This school is truly something."

But then sank as he heard two others.

"Nah, Ilvermorny is better." Said an unfamiliar male voice.

"I believe you mean Beauxbatons." Said Candace.

"Tom." Called Freya, a little less joyfully than Tom would have liked.

"Freya." Said Tom. Walking over to her and placing a chaste kiss on her lips.

"I hope you don't mind, I've invited a few friends." Said Freya, "You remember Candace, And this is Oliver Collier."

He shook Oliver's hand.

He then proceeded to take Freya's hand in his own.

"I'm so glad you could come."

"I'm visiting grand-mère in Paris so this is sort of a lay over." Said Freya.

"I'm still happy that you are here. Shall we?" He asked, prepared to guide her to Slughorn's office.

"Just one second." She Said before tapping her dress and all of a sudden it became the most beautiful red lace dress Tom had ever seen.

"Beautiful." Said Tom, "Lets go"

"Don't I get the grand tour first?" Asked Freya.

"Later." He whispered, Freya blushed. He practically growled when he saw Candace and Olly look at Freya and shake their heads as if they knew something.

"Tom, I've been meaning to talk to you about something." She Said.

"So have I, but can we wait until we are alone together."

"Alright." She Said.

"Tom M'boy, And my goodness, Freya Taschereau in the flesh." Said Slughorn, as he welcomed them all into his already bustling office.

"Pleasure to meet you, sir, I hope you don't mind I brought Candace and she brought Oliver." Said Freya.

Slughorn looked as if he may burst with happiness.
