"Are you okay miss?" Asked a boy. I look up and I see a boy with bright green eyes and brown hair he was wearing a light grey shirt, black jeans with white and marron checkered Vans. "Yeah sorry, about making a scene," I muttered. He held out his hand and helped me up. "If you don't mind me asking, what were you crying about?" "It's...its... just seeing all these people and getting to Fiore was...was my dream. It's dumb I know." "Getting to Fiore was your dream? Now that your dream has come true do you have to come up with a new dream. Any ideas?" He said with a grin.

I don't know why, but something about him seemed so familiar even though I've never seen him before. "Why would she ever trust you?!" Cyra interrupted. "You can't just walk up to people and ask them questions like that." "I'm sorry, I...I.. just saw her crying and I couldn't just leave her I was just trying to make small talk..." " No, you weren't I've read in newspapers about people like you. You are a low life trying..." "Cyra stop it! I'm 14, not 4 I can make my own decisions now." Cyra then crossed her arms and turned away from me. "Fine then, but don't come crying to me when you get robbed." She said. "So to answer your question Mr..." "Oh, how rude of me my name is Zeke." Zeke, that's a unique name where have I heard that name before? "My name's (y/n). Nice to meet you. And to answer your question no I don't know what I'm going to do, to be honest, I didn't think I'd make it this far." "You know it's really late out do you have anywhere you are going to stay at?" "No.. I don't why? I'm just planning to camp here." I say. "You know you could stay with me for the night I live in an house not too far from here."

As soon as he said that Cyra began tugging on my pants trying to pull me away. "I'm sorry," I say. "I need to talk to my friend Cyra for a second." "Sure uh whatever you need." He looked uncomfortable. "Cyra what are you doing?!" I hiss so Zeke won't hear me. "Saving your butt from dying obviously. Now come on run away while we still can." Cyra began tugging on my pants even harder causing me to trip a bit. "No, I'm not leaving. I can sense it; he's trustworthy. Plus I can't even think of the last time I slept in a real building." "Fine whatever I guess we'll both just die after being in Fiore for 1 day." I rolled my eyes and walked back to Zeke. "Thank you so much for letting us stay with you."

Zeke pov
Crap what did I just do?! I just invited a stranger into my house! I don't even know her she could murder or rob me for all I know! I really should have thought this threw. She just looked so helpless and I saw her crying I had to do something. Normally I don't talk to strangers, but was just something about her and when I heard her say her name was (y/n) it sounded so familiar. It's like I already met her before.

As we walked to my apartment it was so awkward. I kept trying to say something but I could tell from the obvious glare from Cyra I probably should be quiet.

When we got to my apartment I took my key and unlocked the door. I opened it and let in (y/n) and her exceed. "Make yourself at home," I said forcing a smile. When I looked over at (y/n) she was staring at all my pictures. "Who's this?" She asked. I looked at the picture to see she was pointing at my exceed. "Oh, that's Casper my exceed," I answered. "You have an exceed too? That's so cool I've never seen anyone else with one, yet again I haven't really seen anyone else in a while..." I couldn't help but smile at how excited she got about the littlest things.

When Zeke let us in I was amazed at how big his apartment was. Then I saw some pictures on his wall and I couldn't help but look at them. Then I saw a purple cat wearing black pants with chains I asked Zeke who he was. It turns out he had an exceed too! See Cyra, staying here was perfectly fine we're both still alive I thought. "Aren't your parents going to wonder why there's a random girl in their house?" I finally ask. He looked almost surprised to hear the words parents. "No, I don't live with my parents I ran away from home around three years ago." "Oh," I say. "What about you, your obviously alone too." "It's complicated," I respond with.

"So where am I going to sleep?" I ask trying to change the subject. "Oh right, of course, I don't really have an extra bed of any kind, but I have a couch. I know it's not the best but I figure it's better than sleeping on the ground." "Thank you so so much." I squeal as I hug him.

"Its nothing really," I say not expecting the hug. Then she started crying on my shoulder. "What why are you crying?!" "It's...it's just no one has ever been this kind to me before." "It's nothing really, really its nothing it's just a couch," I say while trying to push her off. I've never been that great at dealing with emotions. "You really are emotional aren't you," I say not thinking. Then I feel a hard kick on the back of my leg. "Ow, what was that for?" I turned my head around to see an irritated Cyra. "Do you have a problem with emotions or something?" She said angrily. "No, I don't at all I was just caught off guard that's all." I quickly respond while still trying to push the crying (y/n) off.

"Anyway it's late we all should really go to bed," I say. Finally (y/n) let go of me and looked me straight in the eyes; and that was when I saw her (e/c) eyes and I saw the sparkle in them. Then she said "Really thank you so much, Zeke, for everything," and gives me one last hug and goes over to the couch to go to bed and I do the same thing. When I go to bed I can't help but think about those (e/c) eyes.
