14- 'Somethings are better when kept hidden'

"Aah just get married aldready" Aditya sighed at Arjun.
"But are you coming to the reunion?" Arjun asked Aditya.
"What reunion?" Aditya asked, Sheepishly.
"I told you, Our 95 batch school reunion." Arjun stomped his feet.
"Yeah. Ok. I'll think about it, But for know I have to sleep." Aditya went back to sleep.
Arjun sighed and left the room.

"So...Yash is here." Pooja said, Pulling Yash to the dining room were Aditya was wrapped up in his blanket and sleeping on the chair.
Aditya slowly looked up at Yash and inhaled deeply.
"Of course. He's always around you." Aditya said and focused of his food again.
"Aish, I meant that we have a gift for you."
"Dont tell me, Are you going to live here from now on?" Aditya asked.
"No, Something better than that." Pooja replied.
"It doesn't make a difference if he stayed here."
"Who is staying here?" Maya entered the room, Rubbing her eyes, Wearing her pyjamas.
"No one is coming!" Pooja exclaimed.
"Okay then what's the gift?" Aditya asked.
"The gift is in this cover." Yash held a brown cover up.
"The cover has your gift in it." Yash said again.
"Oh it's not outside?" Maya asked sarcastically.
"No." Pooja said and laughed.
"Thank god." Maya replied.
Yash slowly opened it. It was a paper, Looked like contract papers. Yash immediately gave them to Aditya.
Aditya pulled his hand through the blanlets out and took the papers from Yash.
Aditya read them. His eyes widened as he read through them. Maya was curious to know what it was.
"Oh my god, Yash!" Aditya screamed and hugged Yash.
"Is this real, What are you doing bro?" Aditya asked with the biggest smile on his face which hid his eyes.
"Yes. You are going to be designing the next game for our company." Yash said.
"Oh my god! I can officially work from tommorow!" Aditya exclaimed. Maya slid into the blanket which Aditya threw behind him.
"Yeah. But today we have a meeting. When the meeting is going on, On the other hand the marriage preparations will also take place." Yash informed.
"Congratulations!" Maya and Pooja exclaimed.

"So what do we do?" Pooja asked.
"Mostly the engagement comes first and then the mehendi, Haldi finally the marriage." Noor said.
"But they have probably done an engagement aldready so we have to do the mehendi." Zoya said.
"So what do we do know?" Pooja asked again.
Noor and Zoya looked at her doubtedly.
"What I've never married before." Pooja said.
"Ok, We have to do mehen-"
"What about, We keep an engagement again?" Pooja suggested.
"What?" Noor asked.
"Oh as in, Why can't we arrange a date kinda thing for them as an engagement?" Zoya suggested.
"Yes exactly!" Pooja jumped.
"Ok so which restaurant?" Noor asked.
"No need of any restaurant, Here." Zoya said.
"Here?!" Noor and Pooja exclaimed.
"I have a plan" Zoya said.

"The meeting went really good." Aditya said as he got out of the company towards the car.
"Yes. I have all my hopes on you. Please do the project good." Yash said.
"Of course. I love my job!" Aditya exclaimed.
"Guys can you drop me home?" Arjun said While running towards the car.
"Ah yeah. I have some paper work to complete so I should be staying back. You guys go on." Yash said and left.
They waved at him and turned to eachother.
"So who is driving?" Arjun asked.
Aditya kept silent while thinking.
"You drive, Since you got the job." Arjun said and gave him the keys.
"Thanks." Aditya grabbed the keys with a big smile and sat in the car.

After a while, Arjun and Aditya started talking about life.
"So I am treating all of you with dinner. Pooja demanded for it." Aditya said.
"Congrats bro." Arjun said.
"Finally!" Aditya exclaimed.
"So do you want something? I'm sorry that I wasn't there at first."
"It's fine, You're here now." Aditya wasn't able to stop smiling. He was really happy.
"So anything you want me to get for you?"
"You want to get something for me?
"Yes, I've never done anything for you from the time I came here so I'll use this opportunity."
"Hmm... You get the dinner." Aditya said, Still smiling.
"No, Thi-"
Aditya laughed.
"This means something so you have to do it." Arjun said seriously.
"You want to get something? " Aditya asked again.
"Yes"
"Then..."
Aditya was thinking for a while.
"Get me a good apartment." Aditya said.
Arjun punched Aditya in the shoulder.
