40 - Wherever we go

"Si Hye!" So Joon called her though the phone when she was starting from work.
He sounded to be in a hurry.
"What happened? Is everything alright?" Si Hye asked. She was concerned.
"You still have the ring that I gave you right?" So Joon asked.
"Yeah Joonie, Why?" Si Hye was confused.
"Good, Get home soon and get ready." So Joon said.
"Huh?" Si Hye was extremely confused.
"And Look pretty." So Joon said.
"But, What? Why should I?"
"We are going on a date. I don't want to take you to the same park, This time it's different." So Joon said.
Si Hye was able to sense his smile across his face through the phone.
"Where are we going?" Si Hye asked.
"To a restaurant. They are giving a free cake at the end for couples so let's go too!" So Joon said.
"Is this why you wanted a girlfriend?"
"Don't tell me that you don't want cakes. "
"I want."
"Then? Let's go! "

The next day.
Aditya got up and saw Zoya doing something in the kitchen.
It looked like she was cooking.
"What are you doing?" Aditya asked.
"Oh, You are awake!" Zoya said.
"I saw an amazing recipe online and I'm trying it out." Zoya replied.
"But-"
"You've always been cooking so I wanted to do now" Zoya said.
Aditya was touched.
He went closer to her face.
He tried to kiss her.
She moved back.
Aditya looked at her confused.
"Is it okay if my mouth smells of onions?" Zoya asked.
Aditya smiled.
"I have to brush my teeth." Aditya said.
"Ah, We are gross." Zoya said.
"Really?" Aditya asked and hugged her tightly from behind.
The hug distracted Zoya from cooking.
"OMG Adi! Do you want the food to be good? " Zoya asked.
"You are good tho." Aditya replied with a smile.
"But I'm not a fo-" Zoya started to say but realized what she was going to say and thought of what he would reply.
Zoya paused.
"You are a what? " Aditya asked with a smirk.
"Nevermind. Go brush." Zoya ordered.
"No what where you go-"
"Go Adi!" Zoya exclaimed.

Zoya finished with the omelette recipe and she tried transferring it to the plate from the pan.
As she did it, She noticed that the omelette came down in pieces.
Zoya thought that she had aced the recipe until she put it in the plate.
*It looked easy in the recipe* Zoya thought to herself.
"Zoya, Are you done?" Aditya asked, Wiping his hair by the towel.
Zoya looked confused and blank.
Aditya looked at the plate.
He didn't say anything.
"I'm sorry Ad-"
"I'll eat it, It's not that bad."
"But how can yo-"
"You made it for me, It's mine now." Aditya said and took the plate to the table.
Zoya sat facing him.
He took a bite.
It actually tasted good, The look of it was peculiar but otherwise, According to the taste, It was delicious.
"It's good" Aditya said as he ate it.
Zoya noticed that he wasn't lying.
Zoya was relieved.
She made something delicious for Aditya for the first time.
"When is your flight?" Zoya asked.
"By 2"
Zoya nodded.
Aditya looked at her.
"Should I go?" Aditya asked.
"Of course you should, Mr. Gamer"
"But is it that nec-"
"I'm dropping you." Zoya said and went to the room to pack everything.

"I have time even now, Tell me should I go?" Aditya asked with his doe eyes in front of the entrance gate at the airport.
"Yes you should!" Zoya said.
"But How will I be without you?" Aditya asked holding her hands.
Zoya cupped his face.
"Look Aditya, When we are in a relationship, We just support each other and help each other in the bad times but we never interrupt Eachothers dreams and passions." Zoya said.
Aditya smiled.
"When you are in a relationship, You help that person get up when they fall down, Give them your wings so that they could follow their dreams. You should never be captured in others dreams." Zoya continued.
Aditya looked at her in awe.
He had the best understanding partner he could ever ask for.
He was proud of Zoya.
He was happy that she is there in his life.
"Now, Mr. Hooda, Go chase your dreams with my support." Zoya said.
"Okay, Mrs.Hooda " Aditya said and smiled.

Zoya went home and it was fully decorated.
"Happy Birthday Zoya! " So Joon and Si Hye said, Getting a cake from the kitchen.
"Thank you! OMG I didn't expect it at all." Zoya said, She was obviously surprised.
"We do the unexpected." So Joon said.
"Indeed." Zoya agreed.
They cut the cake and they were talking about wished and happiness.
"Oh, Aditya left today." Si Hye realised.
"Oh Yeah." So Joon also realized along with her.
"Yes." Zoya nodded.
"It's fine. We are there with you." So Joon said, Trying to comfort Zoya.
"Who knows, He might come up with something better than this. He is Adityaaaaa" Si Hye said.
"Yeah he could." So Joon said.
They danced for sometime, Zoya danced because of the compulsions.
They enjoyed the evening.

Zoya was going to bed after completing some work.
Honestly, She did miss Aditya.
It was the first birthday she was celebrating at the new house but it was empty without Aditya.
She did Enjoy it with So Joon and Si Hye but No one could fill Aditya's spot.
Zoya ate the rest if the cake and was going to bed.
Until she received a call.
She crawled on the bed to get her laptop.
With her Sleepy eyes she was able to make out that it was a video call.
She looked at the name and her eyes widened in shock.
It was Aditya.
Zoya was wide awake now.
She attended the call with a big smile but a bit of puffy eyes.
Zoya saw a curious face through the laptop screen.
Aditya looked at her a turned to do something.
"Hello Zoya." Aditya said.

As I keep writing, I feel that the story took a turn fast, Do you guys feel that too.
That thought makes me wanna redo everything now. Please let me know if the story is going smoothly or fast.
