"This has got to be a joke," Logan cried with disbelief. Roman quickly pushed Virgil off of him, wiping his mouth before looking at the logical side with pleading eyes.

"Darling, I can explain-"

"Don't call me that," Logan said coldly, looking at his lover with contempt. Roman sat down on the couch and buried his head in his hands. Virgil shrank back, looking both confused and terrified as the other man's eyes turned to him.

"Get out," Logan hissed. Virgil scrambled to his feet and rushed out of the room, his heart heavy with guilt. Logan turned back to Roman, anger giving away to hurt.

"Am I not good enough?" Logan whispered, his tone dripping with grief. Roman looked up from his hands, quickly shaking his head.

"No darling of course not. It's me, all me, I promise," Roman said. Logan's mouth twisted into a frown and he looked at Roman with disgust. Roman stuttered as he tried to continue, come up with a good apology, maybe make Logan understand, but he couldn't.

"Babe, sweetheart, I'm sorry," Roman managed, his heart dropping as the color drained from Logan's face.

"That's all you have to say? After lying to me, seeing Virgil behind my back, after everything we've been through together? After you promised me you would love me forever? Oh, my God, I can't believe I trusted someone as selfish as you with my love!" Logan groaned, rubbing his eyes under his glasses. Roman sprang up from the couch and tried to wrap his arms around his boyfriend, but Logan shoved him away.

"Get off me, Roman!" Logan snarled, wrapping his arms around himself tightly and trembling as tears welled up in his eyes.

"Logan, please-" Roman tried to grab his wrist.

"Suck my ass, you self-absorbed imbecile!" Logan shouted, shoving Roman's hand away and punching him in the face for good measure before running up to his room.
