Getting comfortable in bed was the hardest thing to do with a cast on. I couldn't lay on it since that would be painful. I had to have it raised a little so it was set beside me on a pillow. It was the most awkward way to sleep.

"Jason!" I shouted from the bed. It was already 11 pm at night, I had school tomorrow and I couldn't sleep. He was in the room in seconds. "What's wrong?" he asked looking around the room. "I can't sleep," I said gesturing to the cast on my arm.

He gave me a sympathetic look. "This cast is just so frustrating and I can't get comfortable-"

"Okay, okay. I'll give you some painkillers. Do you want me to sleep with you?" he asked. I quickly nodded. "Okay, give me a sec."

He left and came back in about a minute with water and some Tylenol. I sat up with much struggle and took the glass of water from Jason. "It's small, so you will be fine," he said when he saw me hesitating to take the pill.

I quickly put it in my mouth and almost drowned myself in water just to get it down. "See, it wasn't that hard," he said chuckling at me. I glared at him. "Easy for you to say," I mumbled. "Alright, now scooch over," he said.

I looked up at him. "But, I like the end of the bed."

"Too bad. I like the end of the bed too." We had a stare off before I reluctantly scooted over. He smiled and got in under the covers, covering me at the same time. Since it was my right arm that was in a cast I had it on the pillow next to the wall.

"Is Sally okay?" I asked once we were comfortable. She was sleeping in the guest room at our house since it most likely wasn't safe at hers. Jason didn't want her to be there alone. "She will be. I put a word in with the precinct. They will be looking into it more. I don't want you worrying about it though okay?" he asked. I nodded.

"You know, she told me what you said."

I didn't say anything. I knew exactly what he was talking about. "And I don't blame you for wanting to stop this, I really don't. But you shouldn't intervene, Lisa. I'm serious. You don't know what you might get yourself into. We would all be really devastated if something were to happen to you. I can't watch your every move, even though I wish I could, but please, just don't do anything. Just leave it up to us," he finished. "Okay?"

"Okay."

Jason draped his arm around my stomach and kissed my forehead. "Alright, now go to sleep. You still have school tomorrow," he said. I groaned. I was hoping that maybe, just maybe I would get one day off but no. Life just didn't work that way for me.

He chuckled. "Don't worry. I have already spoken to your teachers about it. You will be fine," he said. I highly doubt my anatomy teacher would give two pennies, but whatever. I nodded and could feel sleep start to take over.

I woke up to the sound of Justin's annoying voice. "Wake up Lisa!" he screamed into my ear. I balled my fist to prevent myself from lunging at him.

I looked up at him to see him smirking at me. "You have three seconds to leave my room," I said in the most intimidating voice I could muster. It probably wasn't much.

"Or what? What are you going to do one arm?" he asked teasingly. He was getting a kick out of this? "Jason told me to wake you earlier so you have enough time to get ready," he said gesturing to my cast.

I guess that is a good thing, but I would have still preferred to sleep a little longer. "Oh, and breakfast is already downstairs. Jason has to leave soon, so hurry up," he said leaving the room.
