HOPE'S POV
After awhile of us just staring at each other I finally broke the silence. "You can stay if you want," I said, "they're still getting your room put together, and I could use the company." Landon smirked. "Thank you Hope." He said. While he went and got some clothes I got myself ready for bed.
I had just finished brushing my teeth and turned around to surprisingly feel his lips pressing against mine. "What was that for?" I asked shocked, but ok with it. "For letting me stay." He said. I pulled him into a close hug not wanting to let go. I almost started to cry but held it to together because I knew he would hold me no matter what. For the first time in forever, I finally felt safe.
LANDON'S POV
Hope fell asleep in my arms and I couldn't be happier. But when she hugged me I could feel that something was wrong. Something that couldn't be just about her parents because I know how that feels. But I never have felt this upset or sad, and I wanted to be there for her, no matter what.
