Theon had tried to convince Tara to go with Yara to the Iron Islands. He wanted to protect her and the baby. At this point, she was soon to give birth.

However, Tara adamantly refused. Theon could remember every word she said. It's what made him decide that he never be able to convince her to stay.

"If you don't win the Great War, there will be nothing left in this world for me to live for."

Theon didn't want to think about it, but she was right.

Before long, Tara and Theon were riding into Winterfell. It felt odd for them to be back there. It gave Tara a sense of anxiety even though she knew Ramsay was long gone. Now, a much bigger threat was looming nearby.

Theon didn't waste anytime finding someone he truly missed, Sansa.

As Sansa and Dany walked into the room, Theon saw the emotions well up in Sansa's eyes. He was glad to see her again. She was the only Stark left that still truly saw him as family.

Theon turned his attention to Dany. He stepped forward and bowed in front of her, "My queen." Tara followed suit.

"Your sister?"

"She only had a few ships and she couldn't sail them here." Theon began to explain, "So she's sailing to the Iron Islands instead to take them back in your name."

"But why aren't you with her?" Dany asked.

Theon averted his eyes over to Sansa. "I want to fight for Winterfell, Lady Sansa. If you'll have me."

Sansa didn't say anything. Instead, she went straight to him and wrapped him into a hug. Theon was stunned for a moment before he returned the embrace.

He was glad to have his sister back.

"I missed you both. I didn't think I would see you so soon." Sansa started.

Sansa and Tara were talking in the courtyard of Winterfell. They were relieved to be seeing each other again. Theon had to attend to the Iron Born men to make sure they were well equipped for what was to come.

"I didn't either." Tara replied.

"You... are pregnant." Sansa couldn't help but notice the bump. She smiled, "I'm happy for you."

Tara unconsciously reached for her stomach. She felt like maybe she could hide it more by covering it. "Thank you." Tara forced herself to say. However, she couldn't help but remember Ramsay. It made her want to cry.

Sansa must have noticed, "You don't look happy."

Tara didn't say anything. She hated to say it out loud but Sansa waited patiently listening. Tara swallowed the lump in her throat that made her feel like she might start to sob before she continued.

"It's not Theon's." Dread filled her inside. Sansa could feel the light drain out of Tara's body. Silence filled the air between them before Sansa broke.

"I didn't forget." Sansa started, "I made sure he got what he deserved, for the both of us."

Tara turned to look at Sansa. She had heard that Ramsay had died, but she wasn't sure how it had happened.

She didn't know if she wanted to know but she asked any way. "How did you do it?"

"The hounds."

Tara couldn't help but feel a little bit better. Maybe there was hope. Maybe bad men truly did get what they deserved.

She smiled at Sansa, "Thank you. For not letting it get to you."
