Before I knew it I was lying down on the ground while Yuno was on top of me. We were hardly breathing as if we've run quite a phase as I noticed the dark smokes surrounding the city.

As I remembered correctly, Yuno was walking with me on a certain store and when we got out, a huge explosion occurred almost too fast before we could even summon our grimoire.

I coughed. Yuno gave me a concerned look. "Y/n. Are you okay?" He asked.

I inspected my body for a split second before I nodded once to ensure. We both sat up, looking up the sky to see figures that floats up the sky of the kingdom. The two instinctively unsheathed their grimoires and the books instantly flew into the air and then opening to a particular pages.

"Who are those?" I asked still trying to figure what was the current events that's been happening.

"From the eye of the midnight sun." Yuno muttered. His voice flew into the air like a quiet quote as I watched his eyes glare in annoyance. "They nearly hurt you."

"I'm fine Yuno." I lightly tapped his shoulder as we stood up. "Are you hurt anywhere? Injured?" I asked instead.

He eyed me, eyes softened, carressing my filthy cheeks as he looked back up again. "I'm fine. Don't worry. I'll protect you." He said.

"No. You don't have to." I told him. I proudly stood tall and made sure to show him my Crimson Lion robe. "I'm a magic knight. I protect the citizens!" I told him firmly.

He looked at me again. Now his face showed surprise from what I've said. Then he smiled, now two hands placed on both my cheeks. "Make sure to stay safe. I'll station you on making the citizen evacuate the plaza while the group is here. We can't afford the people getting hurt by the assault." He said.

"Y-yes sir!" I replied. Yuno is really a grown up now. After a year, he became a great magic knight.

"And same goes with you. Be safe." He leaned forward, kissed my forehead that almost dropped me on the ground from the shock but him standing in front of me also helped as I held on him as a crouch. Moving away he gave one last smile. "Get yourself together, I'll be back to help you when you're in trouble." He said.

"YUNNNOOOOO!!!!" We both turned towards the familiar high pitched voice.

Little miss Bell appeared in the corners as she flew towards the lever of Yuno's head. "I've been looking for you after this commotion! What if I hurt myself, how are you going to comply!" She complained. Then her wide eyes stilled to me with dislike. "What are you still doing?! The citizen needs the magic knights!" She snapped.

I blinked twice before I understood. "Ah! Yes! Sorry miss Bell! Please stay safe, I need to protect the evacuees!" I said as quickly, running toward the other direction while the two of them remained staring up the group of people who scram away into the sunny afternoon.

I paid less attention to that, focusing on my main goal as I sped off towards the kingdom plaza to see if the people have all ran away to safety.

Mentally thinking about my next plan once the people had gotten away, I thought about regrouping with the other knights. I don't know who I'm gonna face afterall. It's still dangerous to be confident that I can defeat any of them.

I was running around the place, making sure every corner of the alleys are emptied. Afraid as I was to see any casualty, I tried my hardest to make sure the thing I fear won't be in the next stiff ways. Almost half an hour came to pass when I managed to inspect that the main plaza of the kingdom had been emptied.
