(Having no phone is going to hurt the already painfully slow update than I'm already having. Since it's harder to type in my laptop because I can't carry it with me when I'm in the mood to gather ideas. But since you guys are used to it, well I'm thankful enough for your patience.
Anyways, commercial break over. Enjoy this chapter!)
Half myself tried to calm down while the other half cried almost too agonizingly horrible to ignore...
I sat on the broken walls of the infrastructure, watching the unconscious woman I've defeated, my chin leaning on my knees sheepishly thinking if I should heal her or not. I feel that my energy is being seeped out the more I sit here without doing anything at all.
Soon enough I finally stood up. Went towards her and grabbed the grimoire she has before I took out mine, summoning my earth magic to confine her just to be sure.
"I'm sorry. But you have to stay here until the other knights find you." I told her. "And I need to hold your grimoire for a while. We cannot risk you escaping with such dangerous magic."
After saying that, I ran my way towards the chaos. To be honest, I simply followed the noisiest and closest area I could mange to quickly respond to until I was welcomed by fog caused by the dust and rubles falling off high infrastructures.
I coughed. Feeling that I've sniffed quite a few dust while on the way, I suddenly saw a light flickering in the blinding fog of dust. And then it abruptly shot up, little flash of colliding together was heard like a cling of metal in the air, echoing.
I looked up to identify the person currently in the middle of the fight until I recognized the fluttering robe behind the tall hero. Green light emanating in his grimoire while the other a flash of blue. More seconds passed and I saw him summon his wind magic, the tenacious blow of air gathered above and I even forgot the reason why I was there. When the wind compressed, it turned visible to the eyes, forming a swirling wall of hurricane towards the enemy.
I watched as the enemy falls right into the same place I was in. His body sounded loudly after hitting the ground. Whilst, I winced when he received the impact of the ground right through his own body. Must be painful. However, I shook my head in further sympathy, quickly grabbing my grimoire and summon a restraint magic to keep the man from any harmful ideas that might hurt the citizen.
