Aaaaaaahhhh. Wtf! The chapters started mixing up with other stories again! I was about to be done with this chapter, but it's suddenly a different story chapter???? Urgh... my head. 😂😭

Your PoV

I face palmed. Still in wonder what situation I've got myself in to.

As I was wandering around the city alone, sweat dripping down my forehead under the burning sun. It was my day off, but I was left with a shopping list in my hand as a task. I scanned the characters written on the piece of paper, planning to search the place for the items intended but was actually clueless where to start.

Right. I'm lost.

So lost.

I took a turn to the left way, made a bit detour to the right and so on. Until I ended up either on the same place I was in or on a dead end.

What the hell is wrong with this place?! Am I still in the capital? Is someone using a spell on me to keep doing round trips? I scratched my hair even if it wasn't ad itchy as it looks. I didn't know what to do or where to go as I tried all possible routes that I felt like I was in a jungle full of uncertain trail.

Frowning I decided to open my grimoire and create a post map using wind magic. A blue light formed into a square in the air showing a red glowing light whereas shows what location I am currently at and which side should I go next.

Partly figuring out my exit, I closed the book and started walking to my designated place. I queried some passer by that I met and slowly, into the crowd I was able to finally find my way the the capital. This is going to be my first time going out alone because if my mentor wasn't here to accompany me, either my brother or Yuno comes to my rescue.

Wiping another sweat trickling down my head, I turned towards the first store my eyes caught sight of. It seemed to be selling one of the rewritten item on my shopping list: Ink. Entering the premise, I was taken in by surprise to find that the place didn't just looked like an ink shop, thus, sells black inked landscapes and calligraphy. Admiring the scenery from my entrance, I started walking forward.

Amazed as I was I still had to buy the item, tearing my sight off the arts, I looked around to find the possible store owner among the three personas standing by the store as well. Until my eyes caught an old man, his demeanor speaks hospitality, looking around the costumers including me. Quickly, I went towards him and ordered what was asked.

3rd Person POV

Leopold peeked through an alley finding that the girl had left the premise. She was smiling, on hand, carrying a small package as she ascended to another store.

"Hmp... my idea's better than brother's!" He complained, crossing his arms across his chest while frowning, hiding his precense from her at the back of the wall when the girl went out of the store again.

The sudden knock disturbed his morning sleep. He was about to ignore it but it started knocking again much to his dismay. So half awake, he guided himself towards the door and opened it, finding his older brother, the captain of the Crimson Lions standing on his doorway.

"B-brother!" The boy acknowledges, standing straight to face the older royal. "W-what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I think it's time we let Y/n have an independent time today." Fuegoleon started.

Leo, who didn't seem to understand what the older meant, looked confused. "What do you mean, brother?" He asked.

Handing over a paper written a list of supplies, he smiled. "Let her do the shopping chores today." He said.

"We're going to shop?" Excited, the younger redhead smiled in anticipation.

"Not quite."

"Huh?" His smile faded, subbing into wonder as he looked at his older brother.

"She's going alone, Leo." Stressing the term word per word, the crimson lion's captain messed his brother's already messed up hair. "Y/n needs some time alone as well. You're being a very accommodating mentor." He tried to reason.

"But... but out there... alone... with a crowd of guys with a possibility to chase after her?" He selflessly said in panic. Fuegoleon's left brow raised skeptically. His younger brother specifically mentioned guys. "She'll be a helpless young girl. I must come with her."

"No, Leopold. Let her go alone or she won't be able to manage when she's on her own in the future."

"Brother, which is why I'm giving her tours." The younger redhead complained. "And letting her go alone is a bad idea-"

"She needs to go alone." Emphasized Fuegoleon staring straight to his brother's eyes. "Why are you so insistent, I know you've seen y/n's capabilities. Surely, she'll be safe from trouble."

Still in disagreement, the younger scratched his head. There's a lot of guys, bad guys who might make a move on her in broad daylight! Yuno himself is already a troublesome rival, and if someone out there tries to chase after her, her attention for him would rack down into so little percentage that it wouldn't even suffice to create a spark between them.

Geez, winning a dense girl's heart is really hard to do. Especially when it's hard to confess since she's very much Socially awkward that if he admits his feelings, she might start running away from him.

A sigh escaped Leopold's lips before finally accepting defeat to the argument. "Fine. But-"

"No buts Leo." The squad captain said as quick.

"No. Just this one!"

"What is it?"

"I'll tail her in the shadows!" Fuegoleon gave a stare after the statement. He frowned, slowly figuring out why he's being too protective of his subordinate. He had a crush on her. "It's the only way so I can rest assured that she won't get lost entirely."

The older smiled. "I get it." He said, nodding as he messed his younger brother's head again. "Fine. Watch her back alright. Make sure to only appear when it's really needed. Understand?"

"Y-yes! I'll do my best to be of best assistance in the shadows!" He happily complied, running back into his room to grab his robe as he ran passed his brother into the hallways.

The older looked at him with a tired sigh. There's no way he can stop Leopold from doing what he's going to do but before his mind drifted off to somewhere farther, he found the shopping list still in his hand. "Leo, you forgor the list!" He called out, raising his hand to wave the paper in his hand in thoughts that the younger redhead decided to turn back.

Unfortunately, there was no sign of him. His excitement must've overpowered his nature that listening didn't harnessed enough to his system.

"Oh well." He sighed again. "I think I have no choice but to go to her as well." He started walking towards the direction his brother had disappeared from. A little smile escaping his lips while following the hallway. It wouldn't be a problem for him if Y/n would be his sister in law, but once their sister, Merleona, finds out about it... well... Leo would have to face more training than he's usually had with her just to prove himself a man before she'd even allow him to confess or such...
