Your POV

"Another mission?!" My excited tone rose as I leaned closer happily to my superior Leo. How long has it been since the last actual mission is given to us after the kingdom's assault.

The redhead scratched the back of his head. "Yeah. That mission of every anniversary of religions again." He sheepishly replied, placing one hand on his waist.

I looked at him bewildered. "Is something wrong about this mission, sir?" I asked.

He looked at me and grinned. "No. There's no particular problem about this mission. It's just that it's definitely the mission most magic knights wants to end as soon as it started."

"Why?" I blinked twice.

"Mainly because it's tormenting." He explained. "It's like punishment!"

Giggling, I covered my lips before facing back to him. "What makes this mission unlikely for you?"

"Well first of all, we're teaming up with golden dawns again so I'm not too happy." He explained. "And the mission is the horrors of all magic knight."

I chuckled. "Calm down, sir." But still gave him my curious glance. "So, what's our mission going to be?" I asked.

He sighed, placing one hand on my head. "Taming monsters." He said rather unpleased.

***time skip***

I laughed my heart out as I watched the events that's been taking place in front of me. The noise and giggles of children filled the room, together with Leo and Mr. Clause screaming in horrors.

Our mission was simply watching over children in the church of Clover Kingdom. It's also a monthly obligation of magic knights to not just make people safe, but also happy.

Mimosa giggled beside me after watching the distressed superiors we had. I looked at her and smiled. "The children really like you, miss Mimosa." I praised.

"Oh please. They adore you most if you want to compare." The ginger smiled. "It looks like you can become a good mother."

I blushed. Surprised from her sudden taunt. "M-mother?! I-" I covered my lips in embarrassment. "It's too early to think about that."

She giggled again. "Of course, of course." She went closer to me. The children with us busying themselves with playing the flowers the lady royal had summoned for them to pick. "So, in that future reference. Probably three to seven years now, who do you think are the candidate to be the loving father of your future children?" She asked teasingly.

That made me even more flustered. My head clearly had an image when I stole a glance at Yuno. But then it gotten even worse when Leopold's face suddenly popped out of my mind. That just surprised me, making me abruptly turn to my superior who was actually starting to have fun with the orphans. It looked... cute.

"Don't tell me, Leopold is a candidate?" Mimosa suddenly asked, covering her lips surprised.

I looked at her. I could feel my face burning from the blush I've had earlier. "Huh? Candidate?" I asked.

All my life, I thought royal are people who had this decent and defined way of interacting with people. But eversince I met Mimosa, Noelle and Leo. I realized how wrong I was to think that. Well, Mimosa somehow fit the description of a gentle and graceful princess but somehow, she's different in other ways.

"Well, I admit. Leo can be a nice choice too." She said suddenly.

"W-what?"

"But my cousin is really too enthusiastic. I can't recommend him when it comes to having children."

What?! What?! I was confused. "Children? I don't think I follow."

"Well..." she placed a finger to her chin, turning to me with a really sinister eyes that made my hair rose. "As enthusiastic he is, I don't think he'd be satisfied with one child. He might want more than you can imagine." She laughed when she saw me paled in horror and disbelief over her statement.

I just got fifteen. And this is what I will hear to a sixteen-year-old royalty?

"Haaaaah?!?!?!" My face returned back to embarrassment. "M-m-mimosa! What are you saying?!" I asked surprised.

"You're so cute Y/n." She giggled.

I covered my face with my palm. Trying my hardest to calm down as I feel my cheeks still red. This topic is driving me insane. Never in my life would I think that someone will open such topic up in front of me. And to make it worse, it's even Mimosa who said it.

"Little one!" I nearly jumped off my skin when I felt a hand pressed down my shoulder. I turned back, finding the redhead mentor of mine, child sitting on his shoulder, grins at me happily. "What's wrong? It doesn't look like you're having fun!" He said.

I looked at Mimosa and she remained smiling. "I uh... I'm fine." I replied awkwardly.

"Really? You sure? I can let you go for today. I can handle your part here if you're not feeling better." He said..

"No sir! I'm alright. It's really fine-" I protested but a palm suddenly poke my head. "Your burning up. You shouldn't push yourself too hard."

"I'm not sick!" I still said. It's Mimosa's fault for making me blush.

He frowned. "Don't lie about that, little one. Look at you. Red as chilli. And your temperature isn't something to ignore." He carried the kid on his shoulder down into the floor before he knelt down in front of me with concerned look. He's too close!

"I'm really fine! There's nothing for you to worry about." I said in desperation that he would be considerate enough to leave at least a meter distance from our faces. Too close. I can feel myself blushing harder.

"Leo, look after Y/n instead. I can handle the kids." Mimosa suddenly added.

She eyed me meaningfully and I can feel myself a big ball of mess because of what she's saying. Gush. Mimosa, how could you!

"Don't worry Mimosa, I'll make sure to keep my little one well-"

His speech came into an abrupt pause when his face was pushed farther from mine. Within a blink of an eye, Yuno was already by my side an arm wrapped on my shoulder.

"Distance please." The raven added unpleased by my closeness to my mentor.

"Yuno?" I asked. All embarrassment retreated, changing into wonder while Bell flew beside him.

"Yunnnnooooo!!! You two are too close!!!" Her voice chimed into the air, pulling his hair, trying her hardest to take him away from me.

On the other hand, Leopold didn't seem to take what Yuno did lightly. "Pah! You criticize my distance with little one while look at you!" He pointed out. "I need to take care of my subordinate. May you step aside and let me check on her." He said.

"I'm really fine. Please don't take this seriously." I protested to both males. Feeling that if this stare of them takes any longer than now, it's not going to be good.

"Y/n, you shouldn't say you're fine if you're not." Yuno still said. As if finalizing the conclusion that I'm sick.

"No. Seriously, I'm fine. Why do you think I'm not?" I asked back. This argument is nonsense, I can't even understand why they insist on thinking that I'm not well? Does blushing makes you look sick?

(Uh. The competition is going to raise! Love you reader, I'll make you very, very, very strong soon! But first- imma finish my plates and this and thay- mwuah 😘)
