I let out a snort at the conversation and settled myself into the living room couch, the green fabric cushioning my body nicely as I waited for my friends to arrive. I had already cleaned up my room since that was where I was expecting to have our project meeting. Chan, as always, was stuffed up in his room, door closed and locked (that introverted snotwipe). Mom wouldn't come back from work until much later into the evening.
After waiting a few minutes I hear a knock at the door; I rush over to it, and upon flinging it open, I am met with the face of the beautiful Nari. "Hey!" she greets, leaning in for a friendly peck on my cheek. "I didn't know the whole snack situation, so I just brought over an oven bake pizza, that cool?"
