" Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance. " - Yoko Ono

"Can you believe it's already August 12th already!? We have three days of freedom left. Three days until our 100th year of school starts! I feel so much pain and sadness all at once," Daya says as her hands rest above her chest.

"My poor little dramatic baby. How will you survive," Zac teases, pulling her into his arms.

"Three more days until our impending doom begins," She adds and we all laugh.

"Three more days until we can't sleep in until noon and we have to see people faces we don't care to see. I understand Daya but it's three more days until we get back to the school that stresses us out to no end but gives us something we love to. Our school caters to our art. I'm going to be dancing and performing so much again, you're going to be in the theater room being an dramatic actress and in the art room making an abundance of things again. Ray's going to be playing instruments during the day and even after hours. So yes, schools going to such ass if you're thinking too much of the work but if you're thinking about what our arts lets us do, we're gonna have the time of our lives this year. Plus we're juniors now babe," I explain to her and she glares at me.

"Are you going to be double majoring this year," She asks.

"No, why," I ask in confusion.

"Because you should be in creative writing as well," She says and I laugh, loudly.

"I might dabble in some of the musicals this year but I'm not double majoring until senior year. Everything should be less chaotic then," I nod.

"Yeah, that's my plan too," Ray says plopping down by me.

"Surprise, surprise. I'll be there too, I'll be a photography major and I think I'm going to ask about the graphic design department as well," Zac says and we all smile at him.

"Wait?! I mean I know we talked about you coming to my school but... you got in?! You're going to school with me," Daya says turning in his lap to face him.

"Absolutely," Zac smiles brightly at her and Daya face breaks into what looks like tears of happiness and relief as her arms wrap themselves around him. Ray and I automatically get up and leave the room knowing they'd need a moment.

"I knew she's been nervous about not seeing him alot when school begins, but I didn't know she was worried that much," Ray said.

"I know, it's so nice to see Daya with someone that actually really cares about her and her wants,"

"Bout time. Now we need to make sure that Drew of yours is doing his job as well," He nudges me.

"He's doing just fine," I stick my tongue out at him and Ray smirks.

"What," I ask grinning, knowing he's thinking something funny and smart to say.

"Nothing, I can say. We're friends," Ray shrugs and I nod slowly smile fading a little.

"I guess we should go back in-" I say turning my back towards Ray and heading towards the room.

"Mare," Ray sighs. I stop and look over my shoulder, giving a questioning look. He walks up to me and hug me, I breathe in and wait for him to let go. When he does we walk back into the room.

"Welcome to the art school geek squad club," I say in the most nerdiest voice I can think of. ( Which would be my Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory voice)

"Maria Salvatino, do not ever do that again! You hear me young lady," Daya yells as the boys laugh at my silliness and Daya joins them.

"Y'all love me I know. Zac loves me the most though," I say sitting in a one seat-er chair, watching my friends.
