Part 14

Arianna's POV- Chapter 13; Cursing His Name and Digging My Grave Part 1

The doctor says I have a sprained wrist, said it would heal in a day or two. She gave me something to treat the bruises and raw flesh on my elbows, hands, and feet. Silas got me back in time for my AP classes and I got my homework and classwork from my teachers for the rest of the week for all my classes. I was able to go to practice and perform still above average but not perfectly. I got some books from the library and grabbed my binders and text books. 

When I met Colton outside of school by the bike he looked pissed but above that he looked concerned and worried.

"Nothing major Cole, just a sprained wrist." I say and he nods.

"You're suspended for the week and mom and dad know." He says with a shrug and a boyish grin.

"That's fucking fabulous." I say and he laughs and helps me onto the bike.

When we get home mom and dad are waiting in the living room. 

"Why the hell were you suspended today?!" Mom screams as I walk in the door.

"I fought the girl who Jake took on our date. She said disrespectful things." I say crossing my arms over my chest careful not to unwrap the bandage cloth wrapped around my wrist.

"Doesn't mean you can hit her." Dad says from his point standing in the middle of the room with his arms crossed over his chest.

"You don't understand she was saying disrespectful things about... forget it." I say and start walking up the stairs.

"Don't walk away young lady you know damn well that's no excuse." Dad screams at me.

"No dad it wasn't an excuse but I still did it because I wouldn't let her say all the disrespectful things she was saying about Colton and his sexual preferences and I wouldn't let her call him names and I would do it again." I scream back and run up to my room and slam the door behind me.

Shane's POV- Chapter 13; Cursing His Name and Digging My Grave Part 2

I walk up the stairs to her room an hour later. I open the door and find her listening to music while doing a handstand in the corner.

"Arianna?" I say and she kneels down where she was standing in the corner.

"What you did isn't acceptable and you know that. But your defense of your brother is  honorable ." I say to her and she rolls her eyes.

"Don't roll those eyes at me young lady." I tell her and she sticks her tongue out at me.

"I got to uppercut Jake's jaw so it wasn't all a loss." She says and I can't help but laugh.

"At least you got your work and can still practice." I say and she nods laughing.

"So what were you doing here?" She asks me and I nearly choke.

"Um... well... I was talking to your mother about you guys moving in with me." I say and she looks at me and her eyes go wide with surprise and her jaw drops.
