Part 19

Jake's POV- Chapter 18; Chained Hearts Part 2

My parents showed up and started screaming near the end of the competition. They were screaming about the fact that a picture showed up with me kissing Arianna at the game. They were screaming because they want me to be with a "modest" girl and they think her sports bras and shorts are way too inappropriate. Then her parents started taking up my side and it turned into an argument. It was about to get physical until it was interrupted by Cleo shouting that Arianna was hurt and needed an ambulance. 

Now instead of being in the hospital with her, Sam and Shane sent me home with my parents to talk things out. They're being responsible adults but it still fucking sucks. I want to be with my girlfriend, my best friend, the girl I love while she's in pain. Let's just say they didn't take the news so well. In fact I was kicked out. 

Fine by me I pay for my own car and food anyway. Now I just need to find a place to stay. But I don't need to worry about that for at least a week. We have a trip coming up this week. We're going to some beach. Everyone complained saying it would be could but apparently the teachers disagreed. 

So now I'm in the waiting room with Cleo, Trey, Silas, and Candice as we wait for her to get out of the x-ray.

The doctor comes out and she walks over to her parents and Colton. When she turns to walk away her parents and brother face us and tell us the news.

"She has a mild concussion nothing serious. But she also said she's getting tired of Aria's injuries." Colton tells us and we all laugh.

Aria walks out of the room she was in and walks over to her family and hugs them. Then she walks over to me and kisses me softly whispering how sorry she is for worrying me.
