The next day at the competition my nerves are going through the roof. Jake is here and he tried to calm me down by kissing me it worked... for a few minutes.
During the competition I played the song in my headphones to block everyone out. The routine was done perfectly without any mess ups. We did back handsprings, cartwheels, and jumps. The routine went perfectly. Until I saw Jake arguing with his mom and dad and my mom and dad and they all were pointing to me. I tried to close my eyes and block out the rest of the world and managed to make it through the end of the routine without any mistakes or loosing enthusiasm or momentum. And when the song ended the world came crashing back. Literally.
We were running and I was being carried by someone and I was dropped. My head slammed into the ground and everything went black. I heard people calling my name and I heard the ambulance trucks, but I couldn't see a fucking thing.
