FROM THE CAPTAINS chair, Quinn watches the Doctor run around the consul excitedly. "So, where are we going?" She asked.
"Somewhere I always wanted to go." The Time Lord replied with an excited smile.
"Then, why didn't you go before?"
"Because I never thought of it."
Quinn raised one eyebrow. "So, we are going to a place you always wanted to go, but never thought of?"
The Doctor tilted his head. "Well, when you say it like that..."
The Israelis woman giggled before she grabbed his hand and led him to the end of the platform, from which you could see Amy sitting underneath the glass.
The Doctor goes flat on his stomach and only lets his head poke down as he shouts, "Vavoom!"
Amy jumps a bit, turning her head to the Time Lord. "Va-what?"
She hears Quinn laugh from above the platform. "Honestly, Don't question it," she replied. "Just come up and see."
The ginger nodded her head and quickly made her way up the stairs, hiding the ring box away.
"I can't believe I've never thought of this before," Said the Doctor while he made his way around the consul. "It's genius. Right. Landed. Come on."
"Where are we?" Amy asked.
"Planet One. The oldest planet in the universe," he replied with a smile, he could see Quinn get excited by the way her eyes gleamed. "And there's a cliff of pure diamond, and according to legend, on the cliff there's writing. Letters fifty feet high. A message from the dawn of time And no one knows what it says, because no one's ever translated it."
"Till today." Finished Quinn as she reached towards the captains chair for her jacket and quickly pulled it on. "We're going to translate, aren't we?"
"Yes!" He replied and clicked his fingers while pointing at her. "The TARDIS can translate anything. All we have to do is open the doors and read the very first words in recorded history."
So that's what they do. The three step outside and look up at the giant wall to see strange markings, with the translation above it.
