Pref #5: How You Announce You're Dating

Ian:

@SmoshIan  has tweeted for the first time in a while.

This is my girlfriend, and yes, she does wear the pants in the relationship. It's fine, dresses breathe better.

Matt:

"Are you ready for this (Y/N)?", Matt asks you as he adjusts the camera angle.

You nod with a nervous smile.

"What's up everyone, welcome to this very special Sohinki channel video, where I have a very special guest.", he ushers to you, and you wave at the camera.

"Hey, I'm (Y/N). Matt's girlfriend.", you say.

"Also my girlfriend.", he repeats and you both laugh as he explains about how you met.

Dave:

"You know where we should announce that we're dating?", Dave says out of the blue to you.

"Hmm?", you look at him from where you are laying.

"We should do it on my Snapchat. That way only the true fans will know.", he schemes.

"Until they post it for everyone to see.", you tease him.

He grumbles under his breath something about you stealing his thunder, but you giggle as he still goes through with it.

Josh:

"Hey guys, Joven here, I just wanted to announce an exciting addition to my life, (Y/N)!", he pans the phone towards you.

"Hey guys!", you wave happily, giving Josh a quick kiss on the cheek before moving out of the way of the camera.

"She's my favorite person ever, and I'm so glad you guys get to finally meet her!", he exclaims before posting it.

Wes:

Wes Johnson updated his status.

Hey guys! Just wanted to update all my Facebook friends on my current love life situation. I found the perfect girl, and I know she is the one I want to stay with for the rest of my life. (Y/N) is my soulmate, my other half, my missing puzzle piece, and every other cheesy, romantic phrase I can come up with. Nothing I can tell you guys does her justice, and I want you guys to love her as much as I do. Thank you guys for always supporting me!

Noah:

You check your phone to find an office-wide email from Noah?

"Hey, guys. (Y/N) and I are dating FYI. Have fun at the office today (Y/N) cause I'm on vacation.", you whisper as you read it to yourself.

You hear footsteps hurrying towards your office, and you text him the middle finger before facing your fate.

Keith:

"Hey babe, do you mind if I announce that we're dating?", Keith asks you one morning.

"Sure.", you shrug.

"Give me a beat.", he tells you.

You start clapping your hands rhythmically as he starts to freestyle.

"(Y/N), sorry I'm always late,

At least I wasn't to our first date.

I'm glad you decided to stay.

And I'm excited to say,

That we are in love.

And you give me peace like a dove.

(Y/N), I hope you like this rap,

Cause now I'm tired so I gotta take a nap.", you clap and give him a kiss as he stops recording.

"Was it good?", he asks you.

You giggle as you make a face, and he chases you to make you pay for the disapproval.

Shayne:

"Hey, guys! Can I tell you something?", Shayne said one night at the Smosh Family dinner.

He grabbed your hand under the table, and you held it tightly to combat the nerves.

"I just wanted to formally announce that this is (Y/N)'s and I's sixth month together, and we feel that it is time to officially announce that we are dating.", Shayne smiles as he looks at you.

You blush as he kisses your cheek.

"Give me the money, Moss.", Damien sticks his hand out as David sets a ten in his hand.

"How did you know?", you ask Damien with a hint of surprise in your voice.

"Because I have Shayne's Instagram password, and I read your DM's.", he maniacally giggles as Shayne rolls his eyes at his best friend.

You laugh as David grabs the ten back and as an argument ensues.

Damien:

"Hey, Day.", you say as he slides into the seat next to you.

Gently kissing your forehead, he interlocks hands with you, lacing his fingers between yours.

You jokingly shove him away when you hear a gasp behind you.

"I knew it!", Mari squeals with a bright smile on her face.

"Shut up, Mari!", you hiss, looking around.

"Not my fault you guys were being all cute!", she says.

Soon the rest of the crew crowds around, and you explain how your relationship started.

"Not really how I wanted to reveal it, but I guess that worked out fine.", Damien smiles and gives you another kiss.
