Ruel and Kara have known each other since they were born. Their families were extremely close, and they are neighbours. Kara is an only child and sort of a third sister to Coco and Sylvie, her and Ruel are best friends. Kara is born on 20th January 2003. Full Name: Kara Danvers

*Sunday February 2014* 

Kara and Ruel are both 11

Kara walks up to Ruel's house and knocks twice before opening the door and entering.

"IM HERE"

Kara runs up to Ruel's room, saying hi to his parents and sisters in the living room.

"Don't break anything this time" Coco laughs

"Can't promise anything" Kara smirks

Kara walks into Ruel's room to see him playing Grenade by Bruno Mars on the piano.

"That was great!" Kara said walking up to Ruel.

"Thanks Kara" Ruel said turning in his wheelie chair to face Kara who had now taken a seat onto his bed.

"So, you said you needed to tell me something important?"

"Yeah. I'm thinking of acting like proper movies and shows instead of the production and musicals I do now" Kara says

"What?! That's amazing!"

Kara smiles

"You finally listened to me huh? I mean how many times have I told you to try going to auditions?" Ruel smirks.

"I know, I know. I guess I was just nervous..."

"Hey, you'll be great! So, what's the plan?" Ruel asks taking a seat next to Kara on his bed.

"Mum and Dad have called up an agent / manager and he is meeting me next weekend to see me act and all. Then it's in his hands from then"

"Wow"

"Now it's your turn" Kara says

"I don't know..." Ruel says looking down at his lap

"Come one Ruel! I can tell you are going to be so famous, even better than Justin Bieber or Bruno Mars. I can feel it!" Kara says waving her fingers in Ruel's face emphasising her point.

Ruel chuckles

"We'll see"

*Time Skip to dinner*

Kara was staying the night and the Van Dijk's house as her parents were going out of town for a business trip. This happened quite frequently, and Kara was used to staying a couple of nights at Ruel's house, it was like her second home. Her parents were invited over for dinner before they left for the week.
