Chapter 1: She

LLUVIA'S POV

I was in the hospital, kakaannounce lang na wala na ang parents ko after an accident while raining as they are trying to pick me up from school, pretty tragic right? Well, that's life.

Inaayos lang ni Granny ang mga papeles at pwede na din kaming makaalis. But before that, I observed the box that Granny gave me. May nakapalibot pa ditong masking tape at sinulatan ng pangalan ko gamit ang marker.

I opened it and it contains a phone that looks more advance and a microchip thing beside it. It was obviously developed and made by Mom. Isa syang inventor/programmer na sikat sa China married to my Dad whose an astronomer.

Sinundan ko lang ang instruction sa manual and I'm glad that I made it work. The screen is already on... and....

"YO Andromeda Lluvia!!!" said the virtual boy that suddenly appeared in the screen.

Baby blue eyes. Black messy hair. Pointy nose and not so small lips. Average type of body. The ideal 'anime-type guy'. and he is currently smiling at me.

"Wait a minute?! Who are you? What-are-you?!" tanong ko

He smiled playfully. Mukha lang rin syang kasing-edaran ko

"Me? Im a virtual boy. Programmed by your mom! Sabi niya ako raw bahala sa'yo pag wala na siy—"

He paused, "Wala na siya?"

His expression turned sad.

"Sorry..." sabi niya pa.

Tiningnan niya ulit ako. He put his smile back to his face then introduced himself, "Im Perseus at your service. Your mom created me para hindi mo maramdamang nag-iisa ka. I will take care of you from now on, dear Andromeda."

-Back to Present-

Pagdating ko sa bahay. Dahan dahan kong binuksan ang pinto. I crossed my fingers as I walk towards my room. Please. Sana wala si Granny. Please sana hindi siya bumista.

Phew! That was close wala nga si Granny. Baka malinitikan ako dahil lumabas na naman ako ng gabi.

Pagkapasok ko sa kwarto ko, the lights and air conditioners are automatically turn on. Of course, it's because of Perseus. He has all the controls here at my apartment basta ginagamitan ng technology.

That's how amazing my mom is. My mom whose a brilliant inventor that made a virtual boy to take care of her own daughter after she was gone.

At syempre naman, the wallscreen is automatically turned on. Yup it's literally a screen on a wall. Bale sa right side ng kwarto ko yung buong ding-ding ron is a screen. Sa may part ding yon nakaplace ang computer ko na 32 inches. Yup 32 inches. Then may dalwang extra screen each side nung 32 inches but mas maliit siya compared sa nasa mismong gitna.

Inilipat lahat ng gamit ko doon sa China dito sa Pilipinas. Inuwi ako ni Granny rito after ng funeral nina Mama at Papa.

Granny let me live independently. That's why I started thinking maturely at early age. Natutunan kong hindi lahat ng bagay ay madaling makuha.

But Perseus? He is way more responsible than me, aminado ako roon. I'm really amazed to mom kung paano niya ba nagawa ang lalaking to? Aakalain talaga syang tao sa kilos, pagiisip at lalo na sa salita niya.

Speaking of Perseus. His big face showed up in that wall. Too close dude. Makikita na ang kulangot sa ilong sa sobrang lapit niya. Virtually made booger?

"Tsk tsk tsk" taltak niya na parang disappointed.

I turned on my PC.

"Andromeda Lluvia! Kakagaling mo lang sa comp shop and yet computer pa rin bubuksan mo dito?" he said strictly

I just rolled my eyes. I check my files and games kung kompleto pa baka kasi inibo niya.

"Look, hindi ko yan ginalaw ok??" sabi niya

Then he popped out on my computer screen. I looked at him.

"What-the-hell-Perseus" madiin kong sabi.

"Why?" he said pretending that he did nothing.

Hinaharangan niya yung binabasa ko! Cinlick ko siya gamit yung cursor at napatalon naman siya ng bahagya.

"Ay sorry. Naharangan ko ba???" he asked sarcastically.

"You're so annoying"

"Annoyingly handsome" he boasted.

I just rolled my eyes. Alangan pang makipagtalo ako sa katotohanan.

"Matulog ka na, my Lluvia" he said softly as he rubbed his eyes

Nagkasignal naman doon sa itaas ng ulo niya. A small red circle light that's blinking. Hmm, kailangan na niya rin ng pahinga.

"Im gonna shut you down. Kailangan mo ng charge." sabi ko sa kaniya

He looked at me sadly, "I wonder why your mom design that charger na kailangan ko pa talagang mashutdown" 

"Wag ka na magreklamo" 

"Promise me...you'll turn me on right after you wake up ok?"

I look at him then I flashed a smile.

"I'll always promise."
