Also, thank you so much for sticking along despite the very irregular update schedule, haha! We got to 1K reads, so thank you all so much for giving this book a try despite its somewhat cliché nature. Remember to support Viv and the crew of Hazbin Hotel to show your love and gratitude! Also I plan on publishing a few chapters for a Bakugo x Reader thing soon, BNHA and all.

It was only a few minutes ago where the atmosphere was pretty normal, at least as normal as it should be. Now there's this burdening heaviness that is suffocating me. I hadn't spoke as much through the whole ordeal and found comfort in thinking to myself. Apparently, the radio demon as they call him is named Alastor. An interesting name really, since I've never really heard a name like that until social studies. Isn't it like malicious or evil spirit?

Regardless of the whole situation, I still couldn't help but be cautious. Any normal person would, yes, but I was being cautious in case they intended to recruit me over to help with the hotel. I can't imagine myself doing that to be honest after everything that I have done. I walk away from Charlie and Alastor, the two of them discussing how he would possibly help the hotel. I directed my line of vision towards the grimacing Vaggie and chill-faced Angel Dust.

Vaggie pats the empty seat of the couch beside her and I gratefully take my place beside her and Angel on her other side. He looked rather confused. "So uh," he began and glanced at us, "what's the deal with Smiles over there?" He's just as clueless as I am, I guess. I shrug a little. "I don't know. Only been in hell for a couple of hours or less." On the other hand, Vaggie looked shocked. "Wait, you've never heard of him before?" Even her tone was laced in confusion. "You've been here longer than me!"

Now, I tilt over and give Angel Dust an incredulous look. He innocently shrugs and I internally groan. Is this demon serious? "The radio demon. One of the most powerful demons Hell has ever seen?" Vaggie took on a tone that tried to tempt Angel Dust into remembering if he ever knew by stating a fact that would probably have circled around Hell very easily. "Eh, not that big on politics." He leaned back with his arms crossed, disinterest sewn onto his weirdly shaped head and face.

"Ugh." Vaggie groans. I relate, sister. She inhales and starts to speak. "Decades ago, Alastor manifested in Hell, seemingly overnight." What, was he a butterfly before? I lean back anyway and let her tell the tale. I try not to laugh at Angel's bemused physiognomy. "He began to topple overlords who had been dominant for centuries. That kind of raw power had never been harnessed by a mortal soul before."

So he's a man with power. Okay then. "Then, he'd broadcast his carnage all throughout hell, just so everyone could witness his ability." Bragger. I scoff under my breath and shake my head when Angel looks at me curiously. "Sinners started calling him 'the Radio Demon.'" Ah, so that's how he got his wonderful title. It's pretty lazy in the effort department though.

"As lazy as that is." Called it.

She continues the tale. I never fail to notice how her tone was so serious yet dark. "Many have speculated what unimaginable force enabled him to rival our world's most ancient and destructive evils." There could have been so many reasons to be honest. Or there really could have been no reason or motive whatsoever and he did it for the thrill. He's just as dead as the rest of us are anyway.

Dead. My chest throbbed and I inhale shakily at the image of the bloodied body of stab wounds limp on the floor. Stop. It's over now.

"But one thing's for sure." Angel Dust looked bored out of his mind, opposing Vaggie's clear charisma in telling this cautionary tale. "He's an unpredictable source of danger, a wicked spirit of mystery, and a violent monster of chaos, the likes of which we can't risk getting involved with, unless we want to end up erased." She ended it with a deep scowl.

I clear my throat and pat her cheek. "Oookay." He pops in and asks the pastel goth, "Ya done?" Involuntarily I look at him with a sarcastic expression strewn onto my face and into my eyes. "Obviously." Angel rolls his eyes before looking over at Alastor. He wheezes out a silent laugh, hunched over before saying, "He looks like a strawberry pimp!" wih a cheeky grin.

Vaggie snorts and I burst into a small fit of laughter. The phrase itself held comedy but it foreshadowed the fact he's bound to end up messing with this demon, Alastor, for the thrill of it. "Wow, strawberry pimp? And what are you?" He looks at me with the grin still on his face. "You decide."

I feel Vaggie and Angel look at me as I stay silent to try and come up with a nickname. I hum a little as I analyze Angel Dust's attire and look. Something pops into my brain and I snap my fingers, staring at them. "Bubblegum slut." I seem to have said that too loud before Alastor looks over at us slightly and Charlie nearly does a double take. Vaggie instantly grins and Angel shook his head. "Well that's a new one I guess. I'll count it." He snickers.

"Apologies." I wave my hand at the two in the corner with an innocent smile, although I felt somewhat sick at how friendly I was acting. Charlotte nodded with a small chuckle. The man in front of her however kept staring at me. I couldn't break down with what emotion he harbored in his wide eyes. The intensity of whatever it was nearly made me scowl but I just looked back at the two I was with, trying to play it off.

Vaggie stretched. "You're pretty cool person, (Y/N), for someone who ended up in Hell." For some reason I already knew she was gonna ask me why I was here. "So why are you in Hell anyway?" Mhm. I look at them. He looked at me expectantly and she looked interested in the topic. I smoothly lie to them with ease, "I was way too prideful I guess. I wasn't the nicest person and I swore a lot so haha." I shrug, hoping it was convincing. "Gee that's understandable. Fits your character just well." Angel perked.

I didn't argue with that. My bad characteristics made me, well, me. If I didn't have it I don't know who I would even be. "Yeah. I agree." My gaze floats back towards the the Princess of Hell and Radio Demon.

  He was still staring.
