“One! Two! Three!” Mirio jumped, holding Tamaki's hand tightly, and held his nose with the other hand.
Tamaki did the same, bracing himself for the loud splash they'd make.
He hit the water, and it was much colder than he expected. Much to cold for his tastes. He'd probably get out pretty soon if he didn't get used to it.
Mirio flipped his head out of the water, shaking his hair out of his face as he gasped in a breath. “Woo!” he looked over at his boyfriend, smiling. “You alright?” Tamaki seemed to be having trouble staying afloat.
Tamaki poked his face above the water, struggling, clearly. “Y-yeah- uh-”
The blond snickered slightly and reached over to him, lifting him up. “Here!”
Tamaki yelped, quickly wrappingn his arms around Mirio's neck out of instinct. He knew he wouldn't be dropped.
He looked at him for a minute, his face warming up. Mirio caught on. “Can you... Not swim?”
Tamaki shook his head shyly, feeling really embarassed. “U-um.. Yeah.. I um... Never learned.”
Mirio shook his head a little. “Wait, then why'd you jump into the deep end with me!?”
