Tom's pov
I would not let her out of my sight at all. I wouldn't let anyone go near her except for Avery because I knew he wouldn't hurt her. I cannot believe that happened to her. Did they really think nothing would happen to them? Or that I wouldn't know? They're lucky I didn't kill them.
"Daddy, I can't do it." Sophia was currently doing school work, potions to be exact.
I slid down on the floor beside of her and pulled her onto my lap.
"You don't wanna do it do you?" She shook her head.
She never used to do her work and everybody would make fun of her for it in class. Now she does her work because of me.
There was five more problems to do so I decided to help.
"I'll do three of them, but you have to do two."
"I want the easy ones!" She said with her eyes narrowed.
"Which ones are easy?" She hummed while looking.
"None of 'em."
So I did the 'hard' ones and I made her do the easy ones. Well the ones I thought were easy enough for her.
"The faster you get it done the sooner you can do whatever you want." I said when she started throwing a little hissy fit.
"Whatever I want?" I nodded.
She looked at the paper and slowly, but surely did the problems while slightly mumbling and whining.
"Daddy, I done!" She exclaimed while turning around to face me.
"Good girl." She smiled and hugged me.
I never thought this would happen to me. I never thought she would come into my life and change it. I never thought I could have something good until her.
