"Dang, how did you get dressed so fast?" G.G. spoke.
That certainly wouldn't have been Doonah's first thought, and she quickly dismissed why it would be G.G.'s. Instead, she turned to Tayzha and voiced what was on her mind.
"Come on, Tayzha, that's inappropriate. Turn the camera off."
"But there's a mystery here that needs to be solved. Inquiring minds want to know."
Doonah reached over and forced the angle of the camera down towards the floor. Tayzha didn't resist, Doonah suspected it came in fear of breaking the camera more than anything else.
"Maybe Root is sleeping in. Maybe he didn't make it home on time. No matter the reason, it's not for a lot of strangers to know."
Tayzha grunted, then reached up and turned off the camera.
"Bah, you're no fun."
Tayzha retreated into her apartment.
"I'll check on Root again in a couple hours, G.G., and keep you posted," Doonah told him.
"Promise?"
"Absolutely. What are best friends for?"
