chapter eighteen

it took faelecia a while to think over noels offer. she asked him for a day to clearly make her answer. and now was the time that she would tell him.

"noel!" she called from the living room. he came jogging out of his office and into the living room.

"yeah? what's up fae?" she smiled as she stood up on the couch, reaching for his shoulders.

"i made up my mind. i want to move in with you!" he threw his hands up on celebration and wrapped his arms around her.

"oh my god! you have no idea how happy i am!" he cheered, letting go of the hug and kissing her on the cheek.

"it was a tough decision until i realized how much i hated being away from you. and, i can sell the apartment and we can use that money for something special." noel smiled and nodded at her idea.

"that sounds perfect! let's go over there now and talk to the landlord, get your shit together and figure out what we wanna sell." he suggested, grabbing on to her hand. he guided her off the couch and they both got their shoes on.

after having gone to the apartment and deciding to put it up for sale, they talked to the landlord. he said he'd put an announcement in the papers and online. they both thanked him and walked out with a box of her clothes. they'd be making several trips throughout the week to get everything. everything else she didn't need, like extra televisions, they'd sell.

"wow, that was actually so relieving, i'm excited now!" faelecia beamed, placing her box of clothes in the backseat. once they were both in the front seat, noel started to speak.

"like i said, i cant wait to have you leaving with me. it's gonna be amazing!"

a nice two weeks had gone by, and everything was purchased. the apartment was under someone else's name, and noels apartment was under both of their names.

"it's official! it's official noel! we live together!" she cheered, walking into her new apartment. noel chuckled and wrapped his arm around her waist.

"you know what, i think i'm gonna go out and buy myself something with the money i made from the tv. does it bug you if i go out with cody?" noel shook his head no and kissed her quickly.

"how about i make lunch for when you come back, just so you don't have to spend much on food. how's that sound? i'll make your favourite, spaghetti and tomato juice." faelecia smiled and walked back out of the apartment. noel thought he would edit for a bit while she went out.

cody was at home with kelsey, when he got a call from faelecia.

"sorry, gimme a second." he said, answering the phone.

"hello?" he picked up, looking at kelsey and smiling.

"hey cody, i have an awesome idea! i need you to meet me at petland, right now!" she said, excitedly. cody knot his eyebrows and shook his head.

"fae, im with kelsey, i can't." he explained, only causing her to sigh.

"bring her! come on! this is important! it's for noel!"

"gimme a second," he placed his hand on the phone and looked at kelsey.

"hey kels, wanna go to petland with me and fae? she said it's important. it's for noel." kelsey jumped up and smiled.

"yeah! let's go!" she cheered. cody laughed and went back on the phone.

"okay, we're on our way, the one by the target?" she confirmed it was that one and they both were on their way.
