Yet, amidst the madness there was beauty.
Mangled with the pain there was joy.
I figured that was what mattered most.
Forced myself to believe that it would somehow mask the pain.
I needed to believe that he would be okay.
To believe that they all would.
I just wished time was kinder to us.
I wished that this didn't have to happen.
But alas my wishes...
My wishes were not granted.
But I believed he would wish too.
Perhaps his would be granted...
