The next day, I was feeling better. I woke up in Fred's arms and remembered what happened last night. I decided to go back to my dorm. I kissed Fred's cheek and left the boys dorm. When, I got into the girls dorms, I tried not to wake up the girls in the dorm but then me being clumsy, I accidentally bumped into the drawer, causing Diana to wake up. "Who's there?" she groaned, sitting up. "Oh, Alinda, what are you doing at... 5 AM?"
"I had detention with Umbridge... and I felt sick, so I slept with Fred..." I said, my voice fading out as I continued. "Wait... what?" she said, confused.

"Oh, I didn't mean it that way," I chuckled awkwardly. "It made me feel better, we cuddled and yeah..." She sighed, laying on her bed. "Okay, I'm going to sleep now." I rolled my eyes and went to my bed, taking my diary and writing about Umbridge.
I realised it was 7 AM and jumped from my seat to get dressed. When I was satisfied with my looks, I went to the Great Hall. Fred, George, Harry, Ron and my lovely sister, Hermione was sitting together, which made me feel thrilled. I sat next to Hermione. "Hey!" I grabbed a toast, catching Fred's concerned looks. "Why are you looking at me like that? I'm okay, I really am. I only need to get my revenge." I smiled widely, taking a bite from the toast.
"Don't, that's my fault. I should've protected you. I'll kill her for what she has done to you." I looked at him. "No, you're the best boyfriend in the world and you don't have to always protect me, I can stand up for myself!" I said. He looked at his plate. "Okay, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened to me. It's just that Umbridge annoys me."
"It's not a big deal," Fred said, holding my hand. "I can handle it." He kissed the back of my hand and I smiled at him, I wonder how I could live without him.

We were in the Common Room talking about the joke shop. "We decided to hire someone," George said. "It will be easier for us." I smiled as I held Fred's hand. "Sounds good. Did you decide who it will be yet?" I asked. They shook their head. "We'll probably ask someone from 7th year but we are not sure." Fred said.
"I can ask someone if you want to!" I said, as I jumped from my seat. "I really want to help you guys because I know this is very important for you, so if you need anything just tell me, okay?" George muttered a yes and Fred stood up as he whispered in my ear, "You're the best." I giggled at his words. "Oh, I have Potions class... I need to hurry!" I picked up my books from the table and ran as I waved at the twins quickly.
Finally, I found the Potions classroom and sat next to Brandon. "Hey!" He saw me and smiled. "Hello!" There was a thump as the door was shut. "Open page 82," Professor Snape said boringly. "Are you alright? I heard you had detention with Professor Umbridge earlier and we couldn't talk for a while." I heard Brandon. "Oh, I'm fine but there's something absolutely wrong with her." Then he muttered, "I agree." I laughed softly at his remark. The lesson continued as time passed quickly.

We were having lunch in the Great Hall and we heard a voice, it was Professor McGonagall's voice. I saw people walking out to the corridor. I stood from my seat, which caused the twins, Hermione, Harry, Ron and Ginny stand up too. We went to the corridor to see Professor Umbridge and Professor McGonagall arguing. "Pardon me Professor, but what exactly are you insinuating?" Umbridge asked, looking quite irritated.
"I am merely requesting that when it comes to my students, you conform to the prescribed disciplinary practices." McGonagall snapped. "So silly of me, but it sounds as if you're questioning my authority in my own classroom, Minerva." Umbridge said as she took a step to the stairs to look taller. Oh my God, this is so bad. "Not at all, Dolores." McGonagall also took a step. "Merely your medieval methods."
"I... am sorry dear." Umbridge said. "But to question my practices is to question the Ministry, and by extension, the Minister himself. I am a tolerant woman, but the one thing I will not stand for is disloyalty!" I kept myself from laughing. She thought that we were not loyal, like she actually was. "Disloyalty." McGonagall nodded as she had a facial expression which showed that she couldn't believe what Umbridge had said, as if it was a disgrace to her.
"Things at Hogwarts are far worse than I thought. Cornelius will want to take immediate action." Then she walked to the opposite direction of the crowd. McGonagall was left shocked but then she left too. "This is horrible," I said. "We should do something! If we don't, Hogwarts won't be the same. We don't learn how to defend ourselves." I had the idea. "We should make a defense class, yes absolutely, and we can, Harry can teach us how to defend ourselves, right?" Everyone liked the idea but Harry. "I don't know anything about defense-"
"Which means you know everything about it, okay we should totally do it!" I laughed. "What do you think, Hermione?" She was looking satisfied. "Well, in my opinion it is a great idea. Then, where should we meet?"

"So uhm... hi." Hermione said awkwardly. All of us were gathered in the Hog's Head. There were drunk men and it wasn't a great idea to spend my first Hogshead trip there. "I think you all know the reason we are all gathered here. We need a teacher, a real one, who will teach us to defend ourselves. Someone who's actually experienced in defensive magic-"
"Why?" A Hufflepuff interrupted. It was Zacharias Smith, someone I didn't like at al. I rolled my eyes. "Well, he's back you dimbo, if you didn't know already." I snapped as I continued to look at Hermione.
"So he says..." he mimicked me, nodding towards Harry.
"Dumbledore said, there's a difference." Hermione corrected him.
"So Dumbledore says because Potter said so. Where's the proof?" he retaliated. "Maybe if we could get some information about how Diggory died..." Micheal Connor said from the back. I stood up and looked at him. "You all want to talk about the death of Cedric, aren't you?" I said, with a disgusted look. "Leave this room if you are just here to discuss this topic because... we are actually here for something else."
Harry glanced at me gratefully and I winked at him. "Is it true you can produce a Patronus Charm?" Luna Lovegood, someone from Ginny's year, asked out of nowhere. "Yes," Hermione said, confidently. "I've seen it." Everyone started to whisper to each other.
"It's not that easy. I've always had help." Harry spoke for the first time. "He's being modest-" "No, I'm not!" Harry insisted and the group silenced immediately. "Facing this stuff in real life is nothing like school. Here at Hogwarts, if you make a mistake, there's always tomorrow. You can try again the other day. But in real life? No chance. You make a mistake, you're dead. When you haven't watched a friend die or been killed yourself... you don't know what it's like." Harry sat down again, his face pink as if he was embarrassed about his outburst.
"I agree," I said, standing up as I looked at Harry. "We don't know how it is like. That's exactly why we should make a little group. We should do it to defend ourselves, to defeat Voldemort." I sat down.
"H-He's really back?" A small fourth year asked as Harry gave a simple nod.
"I'll make a list and we can all write our names on it," Hermione suggested as she rummaged through her bag for parchment. I wrote my name under Fred's and I felt relieved... relieved that we won't spend our year learning nothing from Umbridge.
