"who was it?" spencer asked. "it was him." i said. "ryan?" dallon asked. "no, stupid, the mystery guy." i shook my head. "why the hell would ryan text me?"

     "your phone is still dinging." spencer pointed out. i looked over to it and watched notifications from the mystery guy flood the screen of my phone. i groaned and turned off my phone. spencer's eyes widened. "you're not going to answer again?" he gasped. "no." i stated. "but, you said the other day that-"

     "what i said the other day doesn't matter." i interrupted him. "i'm going, and don't wait up for me." i stood up. "the food." dallon pointed at the table. "you're not going to bring it with you?" he asked. i shoved my hand into my pocket and slammed it onto the table, leaving money.

     "brendon, no! i told you i'm gonna-"

     "bye spencer. bye dallon." i waved as i made my way to the door and left.
