"thank you." jisoo said as sehun pulled the chair out for her to sit.

he nodded.

"what a gentleman." his mom told him.

he just forcefully smiled.

everyone got seated and eventually they got the menu.

"what would you like today?" the waiter asked.

"the lasagna." sehun responded.

jisoo nudged him.

"thank you."

"okay and ill get the penne pasta. thanks."

"we'll take the medium cheese pizza, thank you."

"alright, we'll be right back with you."

the waiter left and everyone conversed normally.

"so jisoo, when and why did you transfer to the school?" his mom asked.

"about a month ago. i came to the school because my parents felt that it had a higher education and that it was best if I came."

"that's amazing. what kind of classes are you taking?"

"I'm taking all AP classes this year."

"wow, did you take them last year?"

"no, this is my first time."

"is it hard?"

"not really. it's really just time management and i want to maintain my gpa to get accepted to a good college."

"sehun, you can learn from her." his dad joked.

"the foods here." he finished.

"thank you." everyone said around.

they all started eating but sehun who was smiling at his phone.

"give me your phone." his mom reached.

"im not doing anything." he texted someone.

"now."

he placed the phone on his moms hand and attempted to start a conversation.

"so what about the weather?" he said weirdly.

jisoo gave him a small side eye.

"it's pretty good." she shrugged.

"yeah i had a game yesterday and it was the best weather."

"Did your team win?" his mom asked.

"yeah, it's was 2-3."

"wow, that's amazing!"

"i made the last goal."

"ah, i wish i could've went."

"it's fine, if we make it to the championship game, you'll come, right?"

"of course."

"no doubt."

he smiled, but jisoo furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"and will you?"

"most definitely."

this situation was confusing because sehun rarely goes to his practices or games.

they eat and talk here and there and all of a sudden sehuns dad starts having a nose bleed.

"oh! what happened?" his mom asked.

"i don't know!"

"please excuse us." his mom asked as we sat back down.

"since when do you play soccer?"

"since i was 9."

"I'm pretty sure i haven't seen you play this entire time."

"well, im pretty sure, you're wrong and should mind your business."

"i guess my attendance at the game doesn't matter then, right?"

he stayed silent.

"i thought so."

it was a silent and awkward night from then until they reached the house.

"jisoo, will you be staying over?"

"no, my mom just called me saying she wanted me home, sorry."

"don't be. i enjoyed having you over, get enough sleep."

"i will. thank you so much for having me her, good night everyone."

"bye!"

"see ya!"

but salty sehun stayed on his phone as she left.

"why didn't you say bye?"

"i forgot. whoops."

his mother nodded her head in disappointment as he showed no emotion.
