Lucky girl, what now?

After being gone on the mission I enjoyed my time with the guys. Getting to know them even better. I count myself lucky with the guys. Each of them having their own quality. I really wanted to show them my appreciation and I didn't have a clue what to do. I knew Jenny might have an idea or two so I left a note on the counter since the guys were all on mission at the moment. Something to do with following teachers that went a stray. Trying to shadow them and find out anything particular. My help wasn't needed at the moment.

As I arrived at Jenny she was already at the door by the time I parked my car. 'How lovely to see you, my dear. To what do I owe this pleasure. Finally they let you go out of their sight?'

I laughed, 'no, they are on mission meaning I'm home alone. I wanted to ask your opinion on a matter. I wanted to surprise them with something but I don't know what. I really wanna show that I love them' I confessed. Jenny smiled, 'I knew it, you and the boys are so cute together. They are so lucky to have found you when they did. Right on time. They were getting down you know. Thinking no one was ever gonna want them. Or at least not the person they wanted. You just came along at the best time.'

'I think I am the one that is lucky. I love them so much and they make each day worth it. I didn't think it would ever happen to me you know. I really thought no one was gonna want damaged goods.'

'Nonsense you girl, you are beautiful and smart and what not. But right you want to know what to do. First off maybe a gift for each of them personal. Something unique that reflects you and whichever of the boys.  I could tell you to cook but I know they'd not want that so that's a no. Maybe take a time together since it's been a long time of actual family time right? And don't act like I don't know it. I know, moms always do.'

'How do you know it? Got any hidden camera's?' I laughed enjoying the company of my mother-in-law to be. Pretty sure she already thought of me as her daughter.

'How about going to the salon getting our nails and hair and such done. Getting some girl time too. Don't forget you're a woman now.'

Blushing at how that hit home I knew that was exactly what I needed. We drove to the nail salon first. I got my hands massaged and they did my nails. I chose the polish All your dreams in vending machines. A very pretty pink polish with blueish shimmer in it reflecting pretty in the light. I got the same on my toe nails. After that we went to the beauty salon. I got a deep cleansing and light therapy to enhance my skin. I even went and bought the skin care set they offered.

After that was they hairdresser. I told them I wanted nothing really done like coloring or such just the hairtips. They did and it fell beautiful right away. Looking shinier than ever. I truely felt like the prettiest woman alive. Next was a trip to Sephora and we looked at the eyeshadow palettes. I got myself the Natasha Denona Biba palette. Expensive but so pretty so I figured it was gonna be ok. Didn't spent much anyway. I also found a perfume I liked with a sweet floral scent that I bought.

When we were done shopping we went to lunch at a nice place where you could get sandwiches and toasts. I ordered a croque monsieur. It was absolutely delicious. Simple food makes me happy.  Jenny ordered a french omelet. We had a really good time. When we were at her home my phone rang. Checking who called I saw it was Cameron.

'Hi there'

'Hey where are you now? We mis you.'

Knowing the phone was on speaker at that moment because of the noise in the background I answered

'I am at Jenny's but was getting in the car to go home. We went shopping, getting our hair and nails done and such. Wait till you see, you'll think I'm the prettiest girl there ever was.'

'We already think that, Zephyr. There is no one who can beat your natural beauty!'

'That is so sweet of you to say. Anyway I was heading home any moment.'

After the call was ended I hugged Jenny and thanked her for the wonderful afternoon just hanging out. I needed this girl time and knew what to do for each of the guys. It would take some time planning but it was gonna be really worth it.

I drove off going home feeling pretty and knew when I'd be home the guys would be thrilled to see me. Such a lucky girl I am.
