I went from place to place with Pietro, clearing out robots around town.

"Okay." I took a second to catch my breath. "Being your teammate is great but you are way to quick." I was about to say more but he picked me up again and sped towards the edge of the city.

He put me down right in front of Natasha and Dad. "I'll never get tired of that." He chuckled and zoomed off with Wanda.

"Asshole!" I yelled.

"On your left!" Dad's shield flew past me and hit a robot that was about to attack me.

I pulled it out of the now in pieces robot and threw it at three lining up. I took them all out and Dad caught it.

"Romanoff!" He yelled and threw her the shield.

"Thanks!" She had the shield in one hand and her own weapon on the other, beating the crap out of the robot she was up against. Dad grabbed it back after a minute and got the bot right in the head.

"Duck!" I yelled and flicked my wrist, shooting thick pieces of ice into their circuits and they collapsed on the concrete.

"Good eye." Dad nodded.

"Well she's basically you so what do you think she sees.

"Well it's kind of dusty." I shrugged.

"Kind of? I can't even see your face." Nat coughed.

People were stumbling around trying to get to a safe place. I put my arms behind two people and urged them into the town hall.

"The next wave's gonna hit any minute. What have you got, Stark?" Dad spoke in coms.

The dust began to settle a bit. No robots in sight at the moment so I took a much needed breather.

I'm starving, like I would eat a brick if I don't get some sort of food in my belly within five minutes.

"Well, nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface if you guys can get clear."

Damn it. I walked up to Nat and Dad, they were taking in the moment of peace before more of those flying demons come.

"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan." Dad said back.

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're going to have to make a choice."

"Cap, these people are going nowhere. If Stark finds a way to blow this rock..."

"Not 'til everyone's safe."

Stubborn ass.

"Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there."

Oh I had a math test today, I skipped it to die here instead.

"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it."

I leaned against dad. He wrapped his free hand around my shoulders to soothe me.

The feeling of being close to death at any minute has never left me. That's the life of mine. Even before this battle. I always had a feeling that we would eventually lose.

Dad and me turned out heads to Nat. "There's worse ways to go. Where else am I gonna get a view like this?"

I closed my eyes. the sun was still shining, this can't be the end of my short lived almost fifteen year old self.

A voice came through the coms. "Glad you like the view, Romanoff. It's about to get better."

I opened my eyes, a helicarrier rose up from the clouds.
