Jennie's POV:

"Bye girls! Have a good summer!" I said before turning around to my locker and taking out my yearbook. I look down at it and smiled nervously.

"Just ask her to sign it. Not too difficult," I whisper to myself. My heart was racing with thought of finally speaking to my crush, Lalisa Manoban.

God, even her name sounds as beautiful as that Barbie like creature.

Back in freshmen year, I was new to the school and was completely lost. That was until a tall blonde beauty noticed me. She gave me the most kindest smile I had ever seen. How can someone's smile be that perfect and bright? And when I looked into her giant doe eyes, I knew I was whipped for her.

Sadly, that was my last encounter with her. I had almost every class with her yet, she never met my eye or spoke to me.

So, now, here I was ready to make the first move—ish. I mean asking your crush to sign your yearbook is a start right?

With one last nervous breath, I quickly nodded to myself in determination and shut my locker closed. And to my surprise, the moment I turned around, my eyes had immediately met the eyes that always leaves my heart beating wildly against my chest.

But it all came crashing down the moment she sent a short nod and turned around to walk away from me. I frowned and quickly tried to run up to her. Not today Manoban.

"Wait! Lisa!" I yell out. To my pleasure, she had stopped and turned around with a cute yet awkward smile. I beamed and stopped in front of her while placing a strand of my hair behind my ear. She blushes,

"H-hi," She coughs out. I chuckle and grin,

"Hey!" I said while mindlessly and excitedly handing my yearbook to her. But it seemed like she didn't know what my intentions were seeing as she looked confused while taking the yearbook from my hand. I blush  in embarrassment and look down,

"Can you sign my yearbook?" I ask while flickering my gaze back up to her eyes. And seeing her dazed eyes and flushed cheeks, I couldn't help but smile widely. She nods while opening the book,

"Will you go out with me if I did?" She says. I widen my eyes and instantly felt my heart double in rhythm.

"What?" I ask. She stares at me for a moment before widening her eyes in surprised. Guess she didn't expect to say that as well.

Cute.

I felt a giggle trying to escape from my lips seeing as her cheeks had increased in color. She looks back down and quickly scribbled 'have a good summer,' before handing it back and walking away.

I chuckle and playfully roll my eyes before snatching her wrist. I turn her around to face me and I couldn't help but stare at her in amusement.

"I—uh—" She adorably stammers our while averting her gaze anywhere but at me. My heart was melting. How can a human being be this adorable? I chuckle while taking my pen and turning her hand around to write down my number on her palm.

I look back up at her while dropping her hand and sending a wink,

"Pick me up at 7."

Definitely going to be the best summer ever.
