𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒙𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 - 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 {𝟏} (𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞)

Part 21

This whole week has been hell. I've never been so stressed in my life. I have all these assignments and it's just a lot of pressure. It started off with Sebastian showing up Tuesday and then everything with Tom. I told Lily a little bit about what happened, but not all. I'm just glad it's Friday. Tom hasn't spoken to me since the insistence on Wednesday. And I'm fine with that, I had Thursday and today without any insults or yelling. But right now I'm in my last class and it ends in five minutes and I just can't wait to lay down and finally rest for a little bit, but I do have to study tonight so I'm not totally off the hook. My professor dismisses us and I grab all my stuff. I walk to my car and when I get there it's about two-ten. I put my stuff on the passenger's seat and start my car. On my way back to my dorm, my dad calls me, but I don't pick up because I don't want to get pulled over. Once I pull into the student lot I call my dad back right away. I talk to him the whole way up to my dorm and he tells me how he got a raise in his job and that he saw mom the other day at the store. I changed the subject right away because I don't really like bringing that subject up and started talking about my classes and how I'm starting to look for an internship. I'm also glad he didn't bring up Sebastian. I get my keys out and unlock the door. He continues to tell me about some new show he has been watching and how this guy named Micheal has to find this other guy and I don't understand anything he's saying, but I go along with it. I open the door and walk in and set my keys down. I start to go into the room, but I stop in my tracks,

"Oh my god!", I yell as I look at Jack kissing Lily and they both push each other away,

"Y/n? Are you okay?", my dad asks through the phone,

"Yeah, yeah. I'll have to call you back. I love you.", I say quickly. He says I love you and goodbye and I hang up. They both stand there like two kids who just got caught stealing candy.

"What is this?", I ask and point to both of them,

"Uh. You know...", Jack says and scratches the back of his neck,

"Are you guys dating?", I ask with a smile on my face,

"I-uh...kinda.", Lily says and he cheeks are red,

"What do you mean kinda? It's either you're dating or you're not.", I laugh and they both nod their heads.

"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you guys!", I say and clap my hands. Jack rolls his eyes and Lily laughs. I go and put my bag down on my bed and sit down. I look at them and they are still standing there awkwardly,

"Why do you guys look so awkward?", I ask and they both laugh,

"So Y/n are you going to the lake party tomorrow?", Jack asks changing the subject. Oh, shoot. I totally forgot about that. I've been so busy and stressed that I forgot Jack asked me about that,

"I forgot.", I say,

"Do you have anything going on tomorrow?", Lily asks,

"No. I have to study and get some homework done though.", I say,

"Aw come on. It's Saturday, you can do some of it in the morning because the party doesn't start until seven-thirty and then you will have all Sunday to do work.", she says,

"I don't know...",

"Please. It's not like a frat party. If it was I wouldn't be going.", Jack says. I think about it and Lily is right I will have the morning and Sunday to do everything. Maybe having a little fun will make me less stress too.

"Fine.", I sigh and they both smile.

A WHILE LATER

"Y/n, we're leaving!", Jack says and I rush to put my shoes on,
