𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒙𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 - 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 {𝟏} (𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞)

Part 29

"There's a party tonight and we're going!", Lily says excitedly to me as she walks through the door,

"Lily its a Wednesday night.", I tell her and put my pencil down,

"Ah come on! Next week we won't be able to have a lot of fun because you'll be stressed about your internship and you'll be busy.", she says. I was supposed to start my internship this week, but something went wrong with them trying to rearrange my schedule so I'm starting next week. I'm still working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday though,

"I don't know...", I say,

"Are you done with your homework?", she asks and crosses her arms,

"Yes, but I'm studying-",

"Y/n you've been studying for this test since last week! You've probably read those notes a million times. Can't you just take one day off? The test isn't till tomorrow afternoon and you have like an hour break in between two of your classes.", she states. I look at her and she gives me that face that she always gives me so I give in and I sigh,

"Fine.", I say and she immediately smiles,

"Yay! Oh and are you doing anything this weekend?", she asks,

"Um no not that I know of. Why?", I ask,

"Well because we don't have any classes on Friday I, Troy, and Cassidy planned this mini-vacation for the weekend. We'd be leaving Friday morning early like maybe 6 or 7:30 in the morning so we get there and have more time to have fun. And before you say no, we would be leaving at noon on Sunday because I know you want to get prepared for Monday. Jack is going! And I think Tom is too, oh and Allison. She kinda invited herself.", she says and I take a moment to process everything,

"Oh okay wow, um is this like official?", I ask,

"Yes! We rented a condo with a pool and a hot tub. You can see the ocean and there's. a beach!", she says,

"Where are we going?",

"Malibu!", she says and jumps up and down,

"Wow. I um... I don't know what to say.", I laugh,

"Um say yes! Duh.", she says. I would just be in the dorm all day probably and it's Malibu. It does seem fun too. The only non-fun part about it is Allison. I just don't like how she's always on Tom. I'm not saying I'm jealous. Which I'm not. Why would I be jealous? It's not like we're dating. So there's no reason why I should be, I'm just saying that it's kinda disturbing that she's always on top of him...,

"Y/n?", Lily says brings me back to reality,

"Yes. I'll go.", I say and smile,

"Wait really?", she asks with wide eyes and I nod my head,

"Yay! This is going to be so fun!", she says and comes over and hugs me tightly,

"We do need to get ready for the party though.", she says. I get up from my bed and walk over to my closet,

"Where that outfit that I picked out for you at the mall the other day! You know the one that we got before the interview. Wait to speak of clothes we need to go shopping for outfits and bathing suits!", she says,

"But didn't you just go shopping? And we're only gonna be there for about 3 days.", I say to her,

"Yeah so what.", she says and I laugh,

"But where that outfit! Boys will be swooning all over you.", she says,

"Okay, okay."
