The Return Of The Emerald Secret (Zane Ro'meave)

~ Chapter 9 ~

                                ~ Travis's POV ~

A hand rests in my shoulder and I have a mini heart attack, shoot! I should've kept running. My dad stares at me with cold eyes as he holds a syringe, a close my eyes, ready to feel the needle, when I hear someone. "Hey Travis! Who's this?" I can hear concern in their voice, I open my eyes and turn around.

Katelyn

I smile at her and see her eyes filled with concern while throwing daggers at my dad, I open my mouth to say something when she speaks again "do you want to come to my house?" She places her hand on my fore arm lightly. I had three options here: Go with Katelyn, away from my dad. Go with my dad and most likely get kidnapped. Or do neither and go find Zane, but I still might get taken, but if Katelyn's with me then maybe we won't get sister snatched.

"Hey Katelyn! No it's fine, I was actually going to come to your house" I awkwardly laugh, I look to my dad and he looks at me. "Yes, I invited Travis to come to Starlight, I told him to bring someone since it would be nice to be with a friend on vacation am I right?" He puts his hand on my shoulder and I tense up

"Oh really?" She held a firm grip on my arm "we should go to my house and pack, Travis" she drags me to her car

~ Katelyn's POV ~

We settle down into my car and we drive off. "Who was that, Travis?" I look in the rear view mirror and see the man head back to the airport, "He's my dad." "What kind of father holds a syringe to their son's neck!?" He's silent so I continue "what happened back there, Travis?" He looks at me and sighs. "I was at the airport to pick up Dante, (pretend Dante was on vacation) he texted me saying there would be a delay so I stayed. But I saw Zane there with four other people. One actually looked like you, heh."

I started the car and we drove off. "Really?" "Yeah. Anyways, why were you at the airport?" "Well, Aph said that there was this plush that was only at the airport, so I got it for her as a birthday present for next week." We got out of the car and we walked inside "So, what are you gonna do?" "Huh? What do you mean?" "Well, where are we going? On the plane with your dad or to go find Zane?"

We're at the airport with our luggage, I squeeze his hand and smile at him as we walk inside. We spot his father and he smiles at us "wonderful, the plane's leaving in ten minutes" I eye him suspiciously and he notices, we glare at eachother for a moment when it's broken by the speakers telling us our plane is about to take off. We get on and I sit beside Travis while his father sits in the back with three other people (don't tell how airplane seats work 😂) "the one in the blue hair is who I was talking about" I see where he's pointing and I gasp

"Mom!?"
