Third Person's P.O.V.

???: "Long time no see, huh?"

Y/N: "N-no. N-Not in this form"

Dimaria: "Y/N! Are you okay?! W-who is she?!"

In front of Y/N stood a tall woman who was wearing an helmet that hid her facial features. She had blocked the attack with a spear and pushed the three-headed dog back. Y/N had yet to move.

???: "Let's head back to your friend. I have a plan but I'll need the two of you to help me"

Y/N: "Y-yeah"

As the two made their way back to where Dimaria was, the latter could now clearly see the woman in front of her. She had a slender figure and a golden armour that covered the upper part of her long white dress.

Dimaria: "Who are you?"

???: "We haven't got time for questions. I'll tell you later. See that thing there? That's Cerberus. I believe you know where I'm going with this, Y/N"

Y/N: "Yeah, I was already thinking about it. We must not underestimate it. He comes from that book"

Dimaria: "What do you mean you know that thing?"

Y/N: "I'll tell you everything later, Dimaria. For now…"

???: "We must cut its three heads off at the same time. That's the only way to kill it. Otherwise they will grow back, and Cerberus will become much more powerful"

Dimaria: "I see"

???: "Shall we?"

Y/N: "I'll take the middle one. Dimaria, you take the right one"

???: "I'll go after the left one, then"

Y/N: "Now!"

They jumped out of the way of Cerberus' attack just in time, as it came crashing towards them. One of the claws, however, managed to leave a cut in Y/N's right shoulder. Both the woman and Dimaria got ready with their weapons. Y/N, meanwhile, had to push through the pain and was getting ready to strike with his dragon slayer magic.

Y/N: "Demon Dragon's Claw!"

As the three attacks connected, dust kicked up due to the impact. Y/N landed next to the other two and stood still, waiting to get a clear view, not wanting to risk his own life because of his complete absence of caution.

Dimaria: "Do you think it's dead?"

Y/N: "It should be"

???: "I don't sense him"

As the dust cleared out, the three watched carefully for any signs of movement. When their eyes landed on Cerberus, however, they let out a sigh, seeing as the demon was dead and his three heads had been cut off completely.

Y/N: "I want to make sure of something. Hold on"

Y/N slowly approached Cerberus' corpse. He had noticed something during the fight. A reflection coming from the teeth of the middle head. As soon as he reached the demon, he started to inspect the it, trying to find the cause of the reflection.
It took him five minutes to check everything, and he was able to find what looked like a ring encased in one of the teeth. As Y/N touched it, a small light enveloped his hand. When it disappeared, Y/N found out that the same ring he saw inside of Cerberus' teeth was now on the index finger of his right hand.
