Places That Scare You
If you are going back
To same person who hurts,
If you are holding the pieces,
Of your broken heart,
And taking them back,
Just to be broken and hurt,
I say you are brave.
For you go to places,
That are dark, that sacres.
Mumma, always took me back
To the dark rooms, when I was sacred.
She took me back, until I realized,
The ghosts weren't there.
Take your heart back, till it learns to see,
The love it carves, isn't there.
