Trees

People are like trees.
They have different colors of bark,
They have different shades of leaves,
People are like trees.

They have many branches or only a few,
They are tall or short, strong or week,
People are like trees.

People are not like trees.
They kill off others,
They argue and destroy,
People are not like trees.
People are not like trees.
They judge and discriminate,
They steal and lie,
People are not like trees.

Trees are wiser than people.
They are peaceful and calm,
They do not destroy their kind,
Trees are wiser than people.
Trees are wiser than people.
They welcome all the forest animals,
They open up there arms to strangers,
Trees are wiser than people.
