SUMMARY.
athena daniels had always seen herself as a bit of a loner. it was a problem that she developed from a young age and has stuck with her all her life. athena struggled to form any type of connection with another human being and spent most of her days making bad decisions to fill the empty void inside.
so, when the apocalypse struck, athena had no choice but to try and survive on her own. on the night of the outbreak, athena meets a man who offers her protection and refuge — he was a police officer.
athena knew she wouldn't survive on her own and reluctantly accepts his offer. since then, athena had become apart of a group and feels as though for the first time she belongs. little did she know, that the man who saved her life, would be the person to change it for good. if that's what you could call it.
