A Place To Stay

56 6 1

Sometimes the world can be too much
But it's not the world itself.
Its the people within.
The ones that suffocate me with their judgement.
The ones that are hell bent on my failure.
Their intuition against my innovation

Sometimes it becomes too much.
My heart becomes overwhelmed.
I'm on the brink of destruction.
But I have to keep this façade.
But my walls are breaking.

Sometimes I just need a place to stay.
Where I can be my own person.
Without the judgements.
Without the lies and the deceit.
Is that so hard to ask?

I need a place to stay.
Where I can be alone with my thoughts.
To sort out my problems.
To draw some sort of revelation,
To this shithole I call life.

Everyone needs a place like this.
To recoup for a day or two.
We're only humans and while others mental stability are stronger
We all crumple under just the right amount of pressure.

A place that's quiet.
A place where we are free.
A place unbeknownst to others.
A place to stay.

Its been a minute since I posted a poem, but I'm glad I have one up for you guys!

I can't promise two poems a day like I wanted but rather there will be two poems a week starting Monday(no given day when the poems will uploaded, it's just twice a week.)

Sorry for the inconsistency, but my job really drains me with these hours so I hope you understand.

See you guys next time I update!!
