"Dude." Jaebum called as they treaded down the street in the dim light of the evening.

They'd locked up the cafe for the day, waved the others goodbye, and were headed back to Jaebum's apartment. Jinyoung had performed exceptionally well, and surprisingly earned a compliment from BamBam by the end of the day for his hard work. He really did turn things around, just as he promised. Jaebum felt kinda proud.

Jinyoung quickly glanced over at him, mainly focusing his eyes on the pavement in front of him. "What?"

Jaebum nudged his arm, a small smile adorning his lips. "Seriously, that was really cool of you."

Jinyoung rolled his eyes, folding his arms over his chest. "Shut up, what are you even talking about?"

"Earlier with BamBam." Jaebum stated, though he was sure Jinyoung knew exactly what he was talking about. "He can be a tightass sometimes, and I think he was just giving me a hard time for bringing you along without notifying him. But the way you took up for me was really nice."

"I just spouted common sense that he apparently doesn't have." Jinyoung grumbled out.

"And you worked hard for the rest of the day, which I noticed too. You have the ability to not be a dick sometimes. I'm impressed." Jaebum added, grinning despite Jinyoung's firm denial of it all. It was admittedly kinda cute the way Jinyoung refused to make eye contact and take responsibility for being nice for a change, but Jaebum could already figure out that was just the type of person he was. He wouldn't admit it any time soon, but it was obvious that Jinyoung wasn't as much of a hate filled being as he acted. Sacrificing himself to help someone else was a blatant sign of compassion. "Oh, but you must be starving, I didn't think you'd actually skip lunch. Want a pizza or something?"

"I don't know what that is." Jinyoung mumbled.

Jaebum scoffed, shaking his head. "Seriously? Jeez, you angels are supposed to watch over earth yet don't know a thing about it."

"Our job is to lead people to making the right decisions, and to bring judgement down unto those who've done good or bad. I don't need to know what pizza is to know right from wrong." Jinyoung answered.

"I still have a lot of questions about that. I mean, how is your version of right from wrong better than mine? Isn't that subjective?" Jaebum asked.

Jinyoung scoffed at the mere suggestion of doubt of his judgement. "Because you're emotionally unstable and can't think straight, especially under pressure."

"I didn't ask you to diagnose me or anything." Jaebum muttered.

Jinyoung rolled his eyes. "It's not just you, it's humans in general. There's always an obvious right choice, it's just that you guys don't always know which choice that is. As an angel, the predicting the future thing comes in handy when helping you make those choices. I can see what will benefit your life, so I'm supposed to lead you on the best path possible."

"What if you're wrong? What if you end up leading someone down an unfavorable path?"

"I'm never wrong. Humans often just decide to ignore their gut feeling." Jinyoung complained as if he'd seen it a thousand times over.

Jaebum shrugged, looking over at the angel. "The people in Heaven apparently thinks you were."

Jinyoung shot a glare at Jaebum, huffing out a gust of air in obvious offense of Jaebum's comment. "I'd rather not talk about this anymore. Can we get the pizza you were talking about?"

Jaebum sighed, realizing that maybe mentioning Jinyoung's temporary exile was a bad move. He stopped walking, gripping Jinyoung by the arm to keep him from rushing away. "Hey, I wasn't trying to rub it in your face Jinyoung, I know you're upset about being here. But, I'm trying to understand where you're coming fro-"
