'I still can't believe this' Sana repeated herself after I told her about everything that happened between Zain and me. I felt bad about calling her in the middle of the night but I had to let this out. The pain I was feeling was unbearable. I told her how he thought I was responsible for his friend's death and considered me an enemy at one point before he said had a change of heart.

'You have to tell Zain that you only met Haider only a few times and from the beginning made it very clear that you weren't interested in him. His death was not your fault' Sana told me. The last few days after the incident was one of the hardest hours I ever had, every time I tried to close my eyes I saw Haider and Zain's eyes accusing me of a sin that I didn't even commit. Haider never tried to understand that I was not interested in him so I had to tell him no directly and after that, I never saw him. I thought he moved on, I had no idea he was going to harm himself in such a way that his death will come to haunt me in a face of a man I was in love with.

'It doesn't matter anymore' I repressed with a sigh.

'What do you mean? He has to know' She said to me. Just then I heard a knock on my door.

'I'll talk to later, someone is at the door...thanks for listening' I told her as I got out of the bed to get the door.

'Okay, don't worry everything will be fine' She said in a reassuring tone before ending the call. I opened the door and saw Ramsha standing in front of me.

'What happened?' I asked her.

'Come with me' She said slowly and grabbed my hand to take me with her before I could even say anything.

'What's going on Ramsha?' I asked her trying to keep my voice low as she led me downstairs and out the door to the backyard.

'Ramsha...what is...' I stopped as soon as I saw Zain standing in front of my eyes. He was here. Did he tell Ramsha about what happened? What did he want to talk about now? I quickly turned to leave to go back inside but Ramsha beat me to the door and locked the door from inside.

'Open the door' I placed my hand on the knob, looking at my sister who played me.

'I'll be back in a few minutes' She winked at me and left.

'Why did you do that? If someone sees us...' I started but stopped when I saw him approaching me. I quickly backed away and my back hit the glass door. He placed both of his hands on either side, preventing me to add some distance in between us.

'Do you think I care if someone sees us, you are my wife' He announced. If he had said this to me under different circumstances I would have flushed but right now I was just upset with him and with myself.

'I am not your wife' I tried to push him away from me but he didn't cooperate. Instead, he came even closer to me.

'You will be my wife' He said with full confidence.

'Why are you here? Do you have more things to accuse me of?' I looked at him furiously.

'I know you weren't responsible for his death...none of this matters' He said to me. I wanted to believe him but I didn't have the courage to trust him again. He asked me for a second chance at the terrace a while ago and I trusted him with my heart and right now I had nothing to trust him with. The heart that I gave him was scattered into pieces. I remained quiet, waiting for him to finish what he came here to say so he could leave.

'I had to see you...I tried to stay away from you but I can't, I can't' He confessed, he seemed hurt, but how could he not see how badly I was broken? I felt used and tormented by him. I felt like I was a part of a plan and that he wanted to avenge on me not too long ago. The eyes that showered me with love once saw me as wicked.
