We all stood staring at Mrs. Kaspbrak. I tried so hard to look her in the eyes but I just couldn't I felt to bad about what happened to Eddie.
"You! You did this! You know how delicate he is!" She continued to yell helping Eddie get in the car.
"Look it's not what you think. We would never hurt Eddie on purpose." I said finally looking her.
"We were attacked M-mr-mm..." Bill could never finish what he was saying because Mrs. Kaspbrak cut him off.
"No! You're all monsters! Eddie is done with you!" She yelled causing me to jump a little. Eddie say in the front of the car crying form God knows what now.
"Please you can't t-take him." I said as tears welled up in my eyes.
She fiddled with her keys in a fit of rage. She threw them into the ground and Bev went to go pick them up. Mrs. K quickly pushed her away losing a few curlers on the way down and up .
"Get back. Oh I know all about you Ms. Marsh... and I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son." Mrs. K said causing my blood to boil.
"Hey you wanna talk about somebody talk about me!" I yelled pushing past Stan to stand in front of the losers.
"Hit me with your best shot." I said barely above a whisper.
"A Bowers. I thought my son knew better but, then again I'm not surprised you hang around him. You need someone to clean you up after you kill another kid." Mrs. K said looking me up and down.
"Okay bitch." I said just loud enough for everyone including Eddie to hear.
"I'm not surprised a girl like you has a mouth like that. Just remember children don't scare me." It was all she said before she stormed off to get in the car.
I was quick to throw up my middle finger as she drove away.
"You're insane." Bev said coming up beside.
"Yeah absolutely bonkers." I said turning to look at the boys.
"I saw the well. We kn-know where it is, and n-next time w-w-we'll be better prepare." Bill said.
"No! No next time Bill. You're insane." Stan said his voice cracking. This was the first thing he had said since we left the house.
"I'm not going back in the house. Look at us we're dirty and let's not forget we just lost Eddie. Isn't that enough for you. It got Betty, Edward, and now what you want It to get us." I said siding with Stan.
"Why? We all know that no one else in this town in going to do anything?" Bev said siding with Bill.
"Eddie was almost killed! And look at this motherfucker he's leaking hamburger helper." Richie shouted clearly done with this bullshit.
"We can't pretend this is going to go away. Ben you said it yourself it comes back every twenty-seven years." Bev argued.
"Fine. I'll be forty and far away form here. I thought you said you wanted to get out of this town too." Ben said clearly tired of getting his stomach cut open.
"I wanna run towards something not away." Bev said.
"Oh I'm sorry but, who invited Molly Ringwald to the group?" Richie said whip Bev flipped him off.
"Richie..." Stan went to calm him down but was cut off by Richie.
"I'm just saying. Let's face facts. Real world. Georgie is dead! Stop trying to get us killed too." Richie said. We all knew and we were all thinking it but, none of us were going to say it.
"Georgie isn't dead." Bill said clearly hurt.
"Richie stop it." I said anger covering my voice.
"You couldn't save him but, you can save yourself." Richie said stepping closer to Bill.
"T-tt-tt-t-t-take it back. I know you're scared w-ww-we all are, but take it back." Bill said stepping closer to Richie.
"Both if you stop it." I said trying to disperse the argument.
"C-c-cc-can it B-b-Beatrice." Bill said looking over at me, "st-st-stay w-ww-where you belong."
"Don't talk to her like that." Richie said standing up for me. Bill shoved Richie in anger so, Richie pushed him back. This caused Bill to punch Richie right in the face. Rich stumbled backwards and it took Stan, Mike, and Me to hold him back. They all looked over Bill before grabbing their bikes and petaling away.
"Bill it's time we faced facts, we can't do this." I said grabbing my bike and riding away.

"Grandma!" I called taking off my shoes and walking through the house.
"She's not home!" Connor called coming down the stairs drying his hair with a towel.
"You look like sh... have you been crying ?" He asked looking over me.
"Go get a shower. I took a cold one." He said looking me over.
"I'm tired. Can I go to sleep?" I asked looking over myself.
"No, go shower you look awful." He said gently grabbing my hand.
"Gee thanks." I said looking him in the eye.
"Least I'm honest. Oh and Henry came by today." Connor explained pushing my hair out of my face.
"What he's want now?" I asked tears welling up in my eyes.
"He said he needed to know where you were and what you were doing." Connor said dropping my hand to walk up the stairs. I heard a door open and the sliding of another door. Connor came down the stairs carrying my clothes.
"Go shower. You're bleeding." Connor said handing me the clothes.
**********
I walked out the shower and headed down stairs. I could hear two voices down stairs so, I headed down a little faster. I really needed Grandma to look at my shoulder.
"I just needed you to know I'm sorry but, really need you to come home Connor." It was Aunt Birdie. I stopped halfway down the stairs so I could listen.
"Mom I want to stay here with Beatrice. I can't leave her alone." Connor said and I could tell he was crying.
"Beatrice can come live with us." Aunt Birdie tried to reason.
"You know good as I do she's not going to come. She'd die before she'd leave her friends." Connor said trying to stay calm and  I could tell he couldn't get his words together.
"Look, Beatrice might not want to leave but, her mother wants custody of her daughter." Aunt Birdie tried to push her pony across but I can't down stairs.
"No!" I said almost falling off the last step.
"What do you mean? Your mom loves you." Aunt Birdie asked wrapping in a hug.
"If she loved me so much how come she left? Why'd she leave us with him? How could she?" I asked pushing away from her.
"She doesn't care and she never has. He almost beat her to death and she left us. What does that say about her? But you wanna know what? I don't need her! Guess what I've done without her." I was pissed to say the least what mom leaves her kids with a man like Dad.
"I've made it through school without her. I got a date without her. I had my first kiss without her. I learn how to shave without her. I learn how to take care of myself. I made it through heart break without her. It's not like I'm six years old calling Richie cause he knew what it was like to have a parent not love you." I continued to yell.
"And how can you love someone you've never met?" I asked looking her square in the eye.
"Beatrice it's not like that." Aunt Birdie said trying to calm me down.
"You know what I don't need her. It's not like a three years old kid needs her mother. How come she hurt Henry that way? I don't care how much she hurt me she hurt Henry and now Henry hurts me." I yelled continuing to rant.
"How come she didn't want me?" I asked with tears not flooding my eyes.
"Beatrice it's okay." Connor said standing up to grab me.
"Let her go, it's best she gets it out." Grandma said opening the door.
"Tell her she has no reason to get angry." Aunt Birdie said.
"No reason Mom she left her." Connor argued back.
"Both of you shut up!" Grandma said stepping closer to me.
"Let it all out." Grandma muttered grabbing my hands in hers. I fell apart all the stress and anger form the past few years all came flowing out.
I don't how long Grandma and I sat in the floor but, the anger just flowed out like a waterfall. I never could bring myself to forgive Mom for what she did. Not the way she hurt Henry.
"Sweetheart do you want to go to bed?" Grandma asked looking at me.
"No ma'am I'm hungry." I said wiping my face with my hand.
"We'll eat and then we'll sleep." She standing up and going into the kitchen.
We ate in silence and then we headed up to bed.
"Goodnight." I said barely above a whisper looking at the picture of Stan.
*********
I had been trying to sleep for about two hours now. I ended up sleeping on the couch now that Aunt Birdie was here I had no where to sleep. My shoulder hurt like hell and my legs were sore form all the running and biking I did.  I walked upstairs to the kitchen and started rummaging through the cabinets.
"I know Grandma was a pain pill in here somewhere." I muttered just thinking out loud.
"Beatrice is that you sweetheart?" Aunt Birdie called form the den.
"Yes ma'am." I responded.
"Okay you wanna talk about what happened?" She asked as she stepped closer.
"I'm goo..." I said turning around.
The room suddenly started spinning and to got really hot.
"Aunt Birdie? Something's wrong." I called looking around.
Then the room suddenly went black.
