Even though Wang Yuvin was still a few steps away from the boutique's door, he already heard an angry woman's voice. "Did you hear that, Misha? You better behave or that angry lady will kick us out!" Wang Yuvin was being playful with Misha as he gently rubbed the cat's pink paw pads.
"Excuse me, good afternoon! Where is the waiting area?" Wang Yuvin looked charming in his pale pink shirt and black cargo pants while carrying Misha in his arms.
Seeing the good looking guy holding a well-groomed cat, the attendant in charge of the reception was momentarily stunned.
Wang Yuvin had to repeat himself and wave Misha's paw to draw the woman's attention back to his question.
"Hello, ma'am. Can you please tell me where can I find the waiting area for guests?" Wang Yuvin talked clearly and made sure his voice was loud enough to be heard by the woman he was speaking to.
The attendant blinked a few times and at the same time swallowed an invisible lump in her throat before she was able regain her senses back to answer the question of the gorgeous creature in front of her.
"What's your name, baby-- I mean sir... Do you have an appointment with Lady Tong?" The shameless attendant giggled as her eyes met Wang Yuvin's.
Wang Yuvin didn't mind her much and remained composed. "I don't have an appointment. I am just here to pick up my ---"
"Your girlfriend?!" The attendant yelled, interrupting Wang Yuvin's explanation.
"My niece. I am here to get my niece." Wang Yuvin retorted quickly before the attendant jumped into a hasty conclusion again.
"Ah! Are you referring to a little girl wearing a black shirt and purple skirt??" The voice of the attendant started to sound concerned and serious.
"Yes... that's ri-" As soon as Wang Yuvin gave his affirmation, the attendant wasted no time and pulled him by the arm toward the waiting area while saying, "Hurry up! Use your charms on Lady Tong to save your niece!"
"Huh?"
Though confused about what's happening, Wang Yuvin obediently followed the attendant's lead.
As soon as they reached the waiting area, a woman in her early 50s was standing in front of the door, blocking the way.
She looked furious as she yelled at the people inside.
Alarmed when he recalled what the attendant had said earlier, Wang Yuvin stood behind Lady Tong as he quickly scanned the room to look for Wang Reiji and Europa.
He wanted to enter but Lady Tong wasn't going anywhere.
Seeing her Uncle Yuvin standing behind Lady Tong, Europa ran toward him and wrapped her arms around his legs. "Uncle Yuvin!"
"What's happening here? What's the problem?" Wang Yuvin knelt down to Europa's level to ask her the question.
Sadness flashed in little girl's eyes as she rested her head on her uncle's shoulders and gently stroked her pet's fur.
"Uncle, that gown..." Wang Yuvin's eyes quickly scanned the room to search for the gown Europa was trying to mention.
As soon as his eyes landed on the gown, Lady Tong spoke.
"Well, well, well, allow me to tell you what happened! Your niece just destroyed my masterpiece! How are you going to compensate?!"
"Excuse me, Lady Tong. My daughter didn't destroy the gown. What happened was an accident, please don't blame her, blame me instead." Lady Tong then stared at Wang Reiji's face.
