I place the tray on the table and slide towards the corner of the bench. Taking a deep breathe, I look down at the plate laden with a burger.
To be honest, the food here doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be. Back in my previous school, the lasagna looked like pinky fingers floating on really thin cheese. In my previous' previous school, I almost screamed when I saw the mushroom on pizza. Not gonna lie, it looked like a cockroach — a roasted cockroach.
I bite on my lower lip and reach my hands out to grab the burger. As soon as my index finger touches the food, my phone vibrates. I groan and take out the phone from my pocket.
